In mid-January 1788, Captain Arthur Philip arrived with the First Fleet which comprised 11 ships and 759 convicts and sailed into Botany Bay to establish the first settlement. However, the location wasn't suitable so he moved everyone to Port Jackson on 26 January and raised the English flag.

'Barra' as it is often called is a very popular fish found in tropical fresh and coastal waters. Depending on the age of the fish will depend on whether it frequents salt or fresh water. Most barramundi begin their lives as males and change to females as they become much larger so a 'bag' limit has been place in order to protect the females.

Answer: Errol Flynn

Errol Leslie Thomas Flynn was born in 1909, his maternal grandfather was in the crew of the ship HMS Bounty, he had three wives and four children from all marriages, and became an American citizen in 1942. Answer: Waltzing Matilda

It was a moot point in the end because Australia didn't win any gold medals anyway.

Answer: Boxing

He was born in Gippsland in 1948 and won the Australian Professional Bantamweight Boxing title in 1966. He then won the World Bantamweight Boxing Championship in 1968 and was named 'Australian of the Year'. However a few years later his personal life went into decline with alcohol abuse and crime but in the late 1990s and early 2000s he was working with the Department of Aboriginal Affairs to help Aboriginal people achieve their ambitions.
9. Where was the movie 'The Matrix' filmed?

Answer: Sydney

Most people who have been to Sydney would have recognised familiar sights such as the Centrepoint Tower, which stands 320 metres above sea level, and the Sydney Harbour Bridge towards the end of the film.

Answer: Sir Isaac Isaacs

Born in 1885 he was appointed Governor-General from 1931 to 1936. It was considered by some, including the King, to be an inappropriate choice to have an Australian rather than someone from England. He died in 1948.
