La Paz is the administrative capital of Bolivia holds the highest capital record at an altitude of 11,910 ft (3,630 m). The full name of the city upon foundation was Nuestra Señora de La Paz. The city of Sucre is the constitutional capital of Bolivia and home of Bolivia's Supreme Court.

I apologise for all the people that thought this one was Bolivia. Venezeula's capital city is Caracas, and has a strong Spanish influence (as seen in the naming of their cities!)
