1. Why did Darren become a vampire?

Answer: Because he wanted to save Steve from dying.

Darren stole a spider named Madam Octa from a vampire called Mr. Cresply. But then the spider bit Steve and he was going to die and the only way that the vampire was going to save Steve is that Darren had to become a vampire too.

2. Darren wanted Steve to die.

Answer: False

Actually Darren did this to save Steve but Steve thinks that Darren did it for himself. Steve tells him that he'll spend his whole life plotting and planning on how he will kill Darren and that when Darren will try to defend himself, he'll be ready for it.

3. Who did Darren go to the freak show with?

Answer: Steve

Darren and his friends agreed that Steve should go because he is the one who bought the tickets. Now they needed to figure out who the other person was going to be because he had only two tickets. So he threw the ticket in the air and whoever caught it was the person who was going. And it was Darren who caught the ticket.

He almost did this when he was controlling Annie with his mind; he almost bit her but at the last minute he snapped out of it.

Alan Morris is the person who got the paper. His brother had it and he took it, but in order not to get beaten up he put a blank piece of paper in its place and threw it in the wash so it would look like it just washed off.
