Georgia at Stalag 14 Trivia Quiz

In this quiz, there is no jelloid-girl-Georgia, as she is with Robbie, or Masimo. This quiz is fully about Georgia and her days with the Ace Gang at Stalag 14... or school, as some call it. This quiz will be based on most of the books. Enjoy :)

Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. The dreary day begins with Assembly. Who is raving on (as Georgia thinks) about many pointless things, in a jelly-like way, on the stage?

Answer: Slim

Slim, so-called, as she weighs about one hundred stone, is the headmistress of Stalag 14. She is known for her delightful tent-dresses and fifty chins. If Ellen is being particularly daft, Rosie would say, "What in the name of Slim's gigantic pantaloons are you on about?!"
2. First lesson is Science. By what name do the Ace Gang call Biology?

Answer: Blodge

Biology becomes "Blodge", as French becomes "Froggie", and Geography "Geoggers". During biology, Georgia has watched fantastic films about bees, talked to a pickled vole, etc. Jas quite likes Blodge too, as she and Hunky often go off into the woods and inspect mushrooms, newts and frogspawn and so on.
3. Next is Geoggers, or as some people call it, Geography. Today, Georgia is learning about Hamburger-a-go-go Land. Where is that?

Answer: America

The Ace Gang often liven up place names, by adding "a-go-go Land" onto the end. Therefore, Italy is Pizza-a-go-go Land, Hamburger-a-go-go Land is America and New Zealand is Kiwi a-go-go Land. Georgia and Rosie are both awful at Geography. Once, when Georgia was drawing a world map, she missed out Germany entirely... when she was copying from an atlas.
4. At Break, Georgia goes to the Ace Gang Headquarters. During winter this is located by the radiator (or the knicker toaster). Here they try to talk, whilst avoiding the Head Girl, Hawkeye and Prefects. Who is the Headgirl?

Answer: Wet Lindsay

Wet Lindsay is always ready to be nasty to Georgia, and to give her a Bad Conduct Mark. This is often because she and Georgia go for the same boy. A lovely game the Ace Gang play is to stare at a part of Wet Lindsay, like her forehead (or lack of it) so she is completely unnerved.
5. After Break, is Physical Education. Who is the teacher who just loves to send the girls out in "Antarctic conditions" to play hockey?

Answer: Miss Stamp

Georgia says it is sometimes very calming to whack a ball of concrete down the pitch during PE. Also, Nauseating P. Green is bound to fall over. However, the fact that Miss Stamp is a lesbian puts a downer on things, the Ace Gang think.
6. Before Lunch, it is French with Madame Slack. Fortunately, Georgia is quite good at French - but that might be to do with impressing the new student teacher. What is his name?

Answer: Gorgey Henri

However, Georgia only came top in the French test by learning about forty words and making sure she included them in all the questions...
7. Thank goodness it's Lunch now - a time where Georgia can relax, and eat cheesy snacks with the Ace Gang. Who isn't an Ace Gang Member?

Answer: Lindsay

The Ace Gang members are: Georgia, Jas, Rosie, Jools, Ellen and Mabs. Wet Lindsay is definitely NOT a member, and even though Rosie says Georgia is Nauseating P. Green's new best friend, she isn't either. "Honorary bloke members" are Sven, Tom and Dave the Laugh.
8. After Lunch is Religious Education with Miss Wilson. What is she best known for?

Answer: Her tragic 70's bob and her love for corduroy

A fan of the Georgia books would know that the "crankiness" answer is Elvis Attwood, the "chins" answer is Slim, and "big knickers" answer is Jas. Miss Wilson gets flustered and embarrassed quite easily and wears dismal outfits. Georgia has said that she "cannot control her tragic 70's bob, let alone a class".
9. German last, with Herr Kamyer. What is Georgia's favourite thing to do in the afternoons the Ace Gang have German?

Answer: Apply make-up

In German, Georgia often applies her make-up, preparing for the walk home. She can get away with putting on mascara to nail polish. However, she doesn't push it, like Rosie, who once tried to put on a face mask during a lesson with Miss Wilson.
German is taught by Herr Kamyer, who Georgia fondly calls "bonkers". He is known for wearing trousers that end eons away from his ankles, revealing startling cartoon-ed socks, and talking about the German family, the Kochs.
10. The end of the school day at last - for most. But Georgia and the rest of the Ace Gang are in the play and going to rehearsal. Who does that mean a visit from?

Answer: The Foxwood Lads

We all know and love Stalag 14's plays. From "MacUseless" to "Rom and Jule", it has been fun. The Ace Gang always have fun using fake fur, and messing with the props. Well, except Jas and Ellen. There is always fun going on when Dave the Laugh comes and "helps out" - which means "gets in the way"!
