He changed her name to Violet, and Dawn took him to court to get her baby girl back. Sanford Delorice adopted Butterfly from the "Orphans" series.

His wife, Celine, was obsessed with being a ballerina, and she forced Butterfly to do the same. He owned a big factory of which he was very proud, but he was forced to give Butterfly back after Celine went crazy, stating that he couldn't take care of both of them.
