1. How many new mediators are in this book?

Answer: Two

There are two: Jack and Paul Slater. Jack is an eight year old boy who had no idea what a mediator was until Suze came along. However, his older brother, Paul, knew he was a mediator; he knew much more than Suze or Father Dom.

2. What were Suze and Sleepy's jobs over the summer?

Answer: Suze: a childminder, Sleepy: a lifeguard.

Dopey was at a summerschool five days a week, because he failed English and Spanish. Suze was surprised, because who could fail their native language? Doc, Suze's youngest step-brother, was at computer camp.

3. Which ghosts appeared in this book?

Answer: Maria de Silva and Felix Diego

Maria de Silva was going to marry Jesse, but wanted to marry Felix Diego. Instead of having her embarrassed at the wedding, she ordered Jesse to be killed.

This is entirely FALSE. Jesse IS exorcised, by Jack, but Suze risks her life to save him. Jesse was quite hurt when Suze got him back - he thought Suze wanted him to leave and wanted him exorcised.

Paul told Suze that there was more to it then "mediating" lost souls, more than she could imagine. Suze herself had to be exorcised, but clearly, Paul hadn't...

Luckily, Father Dom did not die. Maria and Diego did some serious damage as they went, though!

After four whole books of waiting, Suze finally did get that kiss she was longing for. Suze writes: "He reached up and cupped my face in both his hands. "We don't have to talk." And that's when he kissed me. On the lips".
