Answer: Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story

In "Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story", rival gym owners White Goodman (Ben Stiller) and Peter La Fleur (Vince Vaughn) square off in a high-stakes dodgeball tournament. For La Fleur, it is a last ditch effort to save his struggling gym from the clutches of his big-budget competitor. Meanwhile, Goodman plans to put the nail in the coffin and demolish the smaller gym to make room for a new parking garage. When the underdogs win, La Fleur buys a controlling interest in his rival's gym and fires Goodman.

For the role, Stiller won Best Villain and was nominated for Best Comedic Performance at the 2005 MTV Movie Awards. To be honest, the moustache itself deserved an Oscar, but so far has been unavailable for comment.

Answer: The Expendables 2

"The Expendables 2" (2012) is a hard-hitting sequel featuring an ensemble cast of big-name action stars. While on what should be a simple mission, one of their own is ruthlessly murdered, and the ragtag outfit wreak havoc on the enemy in their quest for vengeance. When the Expendables find themselves pinned down deep in enemy territory, a bearded Chuck Norris comes to the rescue. He and the beard also featured in "The Cutter" (2005), "Hero and the Terror" (1988), and "Missing in Action" (1984). Throughout his illustrious butt-kicking career, Norris kept his enemies close, but his beard closer. It was thought that his beard grew to the perfect length and then stopped growing, and that no substance known to man was strong enough to cut it. Another legendary tale (since debunked) suggested that beneath his beard was not a chin, but an extra fist. The most widely held belief is that his beard was the source of his superhuman abilities, and abandoning it exposed the man's vulnerabilities.

Answer: Kill Bill: Volume 2

"Kill Bill" follows the story of an assassin known as "The Bride" who is shot on her wedding day and sees the rest of her party massacred by the elite squad she once worked for. The squad, however, made one mistake. They failed to kill her and, over the course of two movies, we see her go about exacting her revenge.

Pai Mei, which means "white eyebrow", is a white lotus priest with an angry disposition and a powerful adept at the art of Bak Mei Kung Fu. He plays a pivotal role in the "Kill Bill" storyline as the trainer of the Bride (Uma Thurman), the treacherous Elle Driver (Daryl Hannah) who would be the downfall of the priest and, of course, Bill (David Carradine) himself. As imposing as Pai Mei's skills are, it's his hair that takes centre stage. Long and glistening white, it is held back in a severe bun secured by a small arrow, with two sideburn-style wisps on either side allowed to trail down to the shoulders. He sports a white beard that would make Gandalf proud and a set of eyebrows (oh those eyebrows) that are so thick they look like they could soak up small pools of water.

Answer: Coogan's Bluff

Ah, the beard with no name. Clint Eastwood made a name for himself during the boom in western style movies of the 1970s, and in the majority of them he sported facial topiary that you'd almost believe was made out of steel wool. I suppose drifters don't have the time to shave. In Don Siegel's "Coogan's Bluff" (1968), the closest Clint comes to sporting a beard is a three day growth at the start of the film. This is soon shaved off as he leaves the deserts of Arizona and heads for the big city (New York) to bring back a killer played by Don Stroud. When the killer escapes Coogan's (Eastwood) custody, Coogan must resort to using the skills that served so well back home in the "big smoke" to recapture his man.

Despite the trademark moustache and that 8.5mm gap in his teeth, it was Thomas' ability to play the typical upper class English bounder (cad, rogue) that brought him to Hollywood's attention and saw him cast as Lt. Col. J. Algernon Hawthorne in "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World" (1963) in a mad (no pun) chase for $350,000 of stolen cash. In "Those Magnificent Men in Their Flying Machines" (1965), as Sir Percy Ware-Armitage, he resorts to bullying, sabotage, doping an opposing pilot, and a range of other cheating methods to win the race. For "How to Murder Your Wife" (1965), he was paid a reported 100,000 pounds, one of the highest salaries at the time.

Thomas was a lover of fine clothes and elegant style; hence two of his constant personal props were the button-hole carnation and an extended cigarette holder. Diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 1971, he passed away in 1990, but not before leaving a lasting legacy. Ivan Owen based his portrayal of the children's character Basil Brush on Thomas, as did Dustin Hoffman for his performance in "Hook" (1991).

Robbie Coltrane played the part of half-giant wizard Rubeus Hagrid in each of the "Harry Potter" films. In "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire", it was revealed that Hagrid was born of a wizard father and a giantess mother named Fridwulfa. Hagrid's beard made the "Empire Online" list of awesome beards in the movies. Gary Oldman played the role of Sirius Black. Richard Harris played Albus Dumbledore in the first two movies. After Harris died in 2002, Michael Gambon took over the role for the remaining five films in the series.

Answer: Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure

Al Leong has even admitted that the only role he can remember where he didn't die was that of Ghengis Khan in the 1989 movie "Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure". The movie follows the title characters as they time travel through history to prepare a presentation for their history class.

Leong has appeared in numerous other action movies playing the bad guy. More notable appearances include "Lethal Weapon" where his character Endo is killed by Riggs, "Last Action Hero" where he is killed in a chase scene, and "Die Hard" where his character Uli is killed by none other than John McClane. He also appeared in "Rapid Fire", "Death Warrant", "Action Jackson" and "Big Trouble in Little China" among others. Because of his roles in TV and movies, Al has become a cult hero to some fans of the action movies genre.

If it wasn't bad enough that Mr. T's character, Clubber Lang, was spitting out phrases such as "I'm gonna crucify him. Real bad," and "I'll beat you like a dog, a dog, you fool," he boasted a savage Mohawk stripe on his otherwise bald pate and a tough as bristles beard that morphed into an extended set of sideburns that curled to a razor end around his ears. He also possessed a stare that could melt rhinoceros hide. Little wonder he clubbed (oh the pun) Rocky into submission early in the second round of their first fight.
The clean shaven Sylvester Stallone directed the third of the "Rocky" series (1982), which was notable for its Academy Award nominated theme song "Eye of the Tiger".

"The Fellowship of the Ring" is the first installment in the critically acclaimed "The Lord of the Rings" film series directed by Peter Jackson. Based on the celebrated fantasy epic penned by J. R. R. Tolkien, the story tells of a Fellowship of nine companions who must journey to the darkest regions of Middle Earth to destroy the One Ring in the fires of Mount Doom and defeat the Dark Lord Sauron.

There is no shortage of facial foliage in "The Lord of the Rings". And dwarves, it seems, take particular pride in cultivating impressive specimens. Gimli, who represented the dwarves in the Fellowship, was no exception. When he nearly fell backward into a chasm while fleeing the Balrog in Moria, Legolas grabbed the beard (much to Gimli's dismay) and hauled him up to safety. Gimli was portrayed by John Rhys-Davies, who also voiced Treebeard, the leader of the Ents.
