Swan was shot before he could burst into song again. Bell's leg had gotten really infected from the bear trap, and he was starting to lose it. I guess Swan was a little too upbeat and positive for his own good.

She broke up with him, and ended up with a guy who sells insurance. Whoops! He took every opportunity to slam her in the movie that he could.
