Poor Tammy, her thresher explodes while she is riding it, causing her early demise. Leslie Miller was played by Amy Adams, Amber Atkins was played by Kirsten Dunst, Rebecca Leeman was played by Denise Richards, and Tammy Curry was played by Brooke Bushman. (Brittany Murphy was also in this movie, playing the character Lisa Swenson, one of the contestants.)

Answer: Brett Clemmens

Poor Brett Clemmens was the second victim of the pageant, and he wasn't even a contestant! He was shot in the head. No one really knows how this happened, but when Becky Leeman is told about about his death, her response is a smile and the statment, "Well, huntin's dangerous (wink, wink)." Interesting that he would die the day he asks Amber Atkins to go out with him...

Answer: Rebecca Leeman

The pageant was clearly rigged, because Rebecca's talent was, let's just say, something to be seen. Amber's talent was amazing, but since she isn't from the richest family in Mount Rose, she didn't win. Lisa didn't even compete, and Leslie did a cheerleading routine. It wasn't terrible, but in comparison to Amber, she definitely had no chance of winning.

Answer: It had severe burns and had to be amputated

The burns came from a supposed electrical fire to her home. Foul play wasn't suspected by the police, but Annette Atkins thought differently: "Bad wiring?! That's the biggest crock I ever heard."

Answer: Will Sasso

Hank was a "special" person, and was also the brother of Harold Vilmes, played by Michael McShane. Will Sasso is famous for his roles on MadTV, Will Ferrell is of SNL fame, Sam McMurray played the character Lester Leeman, Becky's father, and Matt Malloy played the creepy character John Dough.

"Who can ever forget her lip-syncing to "Don't Cry Out Loud", by Melissa Manchester. And here she is, Mary Johanson...!"

Answer: Civil Servettes

"Impartial? When I'm outside these walls, I'm Gladys Leeman, president Civil Servettes, impartial as the day is long." The funny thing is, she definitely is not impartial, and when it comes time for the pageant, contestants start dropping like flies... hmmm who is impartial? - clearly not Gladys.

Answer: Loretta

At this point in the film, Brett is already dead, Leslie didn't go because she didn't win another pageant to advance to the state one, and Annette was in the hospital. So Loretta goes with Amber to help her with her dresses, hair, makeup, etc.

Answer: No one, it was cancelled

No one actually won the pageant because Sarah Rose Cosmetics was seized due to tax evasion. The girls who were set to compete for American Teen Princess were devastated and completely destroyed the former building of the Sarah Rose Cosmetics company. In the end, Amber became a "big-time reporter like Diane Sawyer", just as she had always wanted.
