"HP and the CoS": In What Order? Quiz

Harry is called downstairs by his Uncle Vernon because Vernon is upset that Hedwig has been making so much noise. As Harry comes down, we see Petunia making a cake because Vernon has customers coming and Vernon hopes to make the biggest sale in his career.

When Harry goes to his room, having been warned by his Uncle Vernon not to make any noise, he finds Dobby jumping up and down on his bed. Dobby is happy to meet Harry, a legend in his own time. However, Harry has no idea who Dobby is. Dobby comes to tell Harry not to return to Hogwarts.

Arthur is Ron's father. Harry met Ron's mother, Molly, in "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's (Philosopher's) Stone".
In "Chamber" Ron, Fred, and George take a flying car to rescue Harry from the Dursleys' house. Molly is upset that her boys were flying in the car where they could have been seen, but Arthur is impressed that the flying car worked. Ron tells Harry that Arthur works for the Ministry of Magic, and when Arthur sits down at the table for breakfast, Arthur asks Harry, "And who are you?"

Harry uses Floo powder for the first time but ends up in some shady place called Knockturn Alley when he says "diagonal" instead of "Diagon." Hagrid finds him and gets him back to Diagon Alley, which is when he sees Hermione. She asks him what he did to his glasses and uses the "Oculus Reparo" spell. Harry says that he needs to remember the spell.

They miss the train because they can't get through platform 9 3/4. Harry suggests they wait by the car, and that gives Ron the idea to fly it to school. They arrive ahead of the train, almost get hit, and end up in the Whomping Willow.

Draco Malfoy calls Hermione Granger a "filthy Mudblood". Ron tries to make Draco eat slugs, but the spell makes Ron eat them instead. When they go to get help from Hagrid, Hermione tells Harry that a Mudblood is someone who is muggle-born. A muggle is a person without magical powers.

Quidditch is the primary sport in the wizarding world. It is played flying on broomsticks on an oval pitch. Each side has three goals of differing sizes. Each team has seven players: three Chasers, two Beaters, a Keeper, and a Seeker. The Chasers are supposed to hit the Quaffle ball into the goals while the Keeper tries to prevent them from it. The Beaters hit the bludgers away from their teammates and toward the other team. The Seeker's job is to locate and catch the Golden Snitch, a tiny golden ball that flies around. Once the Golden Snitch is caught, the game is over, and the team with the most points wins.

The bludger goes after Harry in this scene described. He gets hurt, and Professor Lockhart tries to fix him but only succeeds in removing the bones from Harry's arm.

Draco strikes first with "Everte Statum", which causes Potter to fall back. Potter then strikes back with "Rictusempra", which causes Draco to fall back. Draco then uses "Serpensortia". This causes a snake to appear on the dueling table. Snape tells Potter he will get rid of the snake, but instead, Lockhart does it or tries. He just makes the snake fly up and back down. Harry then talks to the snake in Parseltongue. Then Snape makes the snake disappear, but everyone is freaked out that Potter is talking to the snake.

A person who can talk to snakes is a Parselmouth.

Colin is walking in the halls with his camera, when he is petrified. Filch finds Potter near him and says, "I'll have you out this time." Filch leaves and returns with Professor McGonagall, who takes Harry to see Professor Dumbledore.

Floating near Colin, also petrified, is Nearly Headless Nick.

Fawkes is Dumbledore's phoenix. They are magical birds that burst into flames when they die. Then they are reborn from the ashes. Potter sees it while in Dumbldore's office, waiting to speak with the headmaster.

Hermione makes a polyjuice potion that allows a person to turn into someone else briefly. Ron becomes Vincent Crabbe. They talk to Draco to try and find out who the heir of Slytherin is. Hermione is supposed to go with them. To make the potion the hair of the person they wish to become is needed.

She uses the hair of Slytherin Millicent Bulstrode, but cat hairs got mixed in, and she turs into part cat.

Moaning, Myrtle says that someone threw a book at her, and Harry picks the books up. He and Ron take it to the hospital wing to show Hermione. Ron recognizes the student's name who won an award fifty years ago. The last time the Chamber of Secrets was open was fifty years ago.

Potter is sitting by himself and writes, "My name is Harry Potter." The diary responds, "Hello, Harry Potter. My name is Tom Riddle". And so they start conversing through the diary.

As the name suggests, the cloak makes those wearing it invisible. It once belonged to Harry's father, James Potter. While they are in Hagrid's hut, Dumbledore comes in with Cornelius Fudge, the Minister of Magic. Fudge comes to take Hagrid to Azkaban because many believe Hagrid opened the Chamber fifty years ago. Dumbledore says he believes Hagrid is innocent.

Lucius Malfoy then comes in next to let Dumbledore know he's been suspended from his position as Head Master at Hogwarts. Before Hagrid leaves, he says, "If anybody was looking for some stuff, then all they'd have to do is follow the spiders."

Aragog is a giant spider that Hagrid saved years ago. Ron, who is with Harry, is terrified of spiders. Aragog informs them that Hagrid never opened the Chamber of Secrets. Aragog plans to feed the two to his children.

Tom Marvolo Riddle tells him that Ginny opened the Chamber of Secrets. She is dying, and Riddle says as she dies, he grows stronger. Harry realizes that Riddle framed Hagrid fifty years ago. Tom puts the words "Tom Marvolo Riddle" up and then rearranges them, and it says, "I am Lord Voldemort."

Voldemort says he wasn't keeping "his filthy Mudblood father's name."
