When Spencer doesn't show up for a planned reunion, Martha, Bethany and Fridge go looking for him at his home. When they find his cellphone and jacket in the basement next to the gaming console that took them to Jumanji in "Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle", they realise he's gone back into the game.

Despite their hesitation, they agree that he won't be able to get back out again without their help so they too decide to return to Jumanji.

Answer: Restaurant

The restaurant was called 'Milo and Eddie's' and the two best friends ran it together until Milo decided he was done. This left Eddie feeling betrayed and by the time Milo shows up on the doorstep wanting to talk, they hadn't spoken for 15 years. Milo ends up getting more than a conversation - he also gets an unexpected introduction to the world of Jumanji!

Answer: Professor Oberon (Fridge)

Professor Oberon (Fridge) is the first character to lose a life when he's devoured by a giant snake. It's a fun parallel to "Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle" because Oberon was also the first avatar to lose a life that time - although it was Bethany playing as him that time around. Since Fridge has been to Jumanji before, he's warning Eddie and Milo that they need to stay alert at all times when the snake strikes - conveniently illustrating his point.

Answer: Falcon

The elder from the Avian province in Jumanji was the caretaker of the Falcon Jewel until it was stolen in a raid by Jurgen the Brutal and locked away in darkness. Jumanji fell into drought and the crops dried out and died. To save the Jumanji people, Nigel Billingsley (New Zealand actor, Rhys Darby) has written to Dr. Bravestone requesting his assistance in saving Jumanji once again.

Answer: Ostriches

Much to his surprise, Milo (as zoologist Mouse) shares some interesting facts about ostriches when they encounter one in the desert. One fact that he shares too late is that ostriches will attack when they feel threatened and this results in grandpa Eddie losing one of his lives. Even though that ostrich runs off after 'killing' Eddie, it soon returns with its herd resulting in a chase across the desert.

Ruby Roundhouse (Martha) and Professor Oberon (Fridge) find a Jumanji berry tree that's surrounded by water that seems to crackle with some sort of green electrical current. After Ruby falls into the water, she grabs Oberon's hand as he helps her back onto dry land and this causes a spark that throws them both to the ground. As they recover, they realise that they've switched avatars i.e. Martha is now Professor Oberon and Fridge is Ruby Roundhouse.

Martha and Fridge quickly switch back in the same way but the knowledge of how to switch avatars comes in handy later in the film when the group find a waterfall with the same electrified water.

Answer: Ming Fleetfoot

When Martha, Fridge, Eddie, and Milo meet up with Spencer, he explains that he chose to come back to Jumanji because he wanted to feel invincible again - like he did when playing as Bravestone during "Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle".

Because the game was broken, he wasn't able to choose his avatar this time though so has been allocated the avatar named Ming Fleetfoot instead - a cat burglar/pickpocket/safe-cracker with a pollen allergy. Instead of feeling invincible, he says that he's practically playing himself in the game because Ming is small, crafty and has allergies, just like him. The Ming Fleetfoot avatar is portrayed by actress Awkwafina.

Answer: Kababik

Professor Oberon (now played by Bethany) impersonates Augustus who is described as "the cleverest man in all of Jumanji". Mouse (now played by Fridge) on the other hand, impersonates Tomatoli - the "bravest eunuch" who made a personal sacrifice in order to save the region from flooding.

The Kababik brothers intend to join forces with Jurgen the Brutal and work together to take over the world.

Answer: A stereo

One of Ruby Roundhouse's strengths is dance fighting so when Mouse presses play, it gives Ruby an edge in the battle and she quickly incapacitates her opponents and turns the tide of the battle in our protagonists' favour.

In a fun callback to "Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle", the song played is "Baby, I Love Your Way" by Big Mountain - the same song from Ruby's dance fighting sequence in that film.

Answer: Milo

In a tender moment where Milo and Eddie reconnect, it's revealed that Milo is sick and doesn't have much time left. This is why he'd been making such an effort to reach out to Eddie before showing up on his doorstep - he has been wanting to make things right between them.

It's also implied that this is the reason he decides to stay in Jumanji after the group have completed the adventure, even though he's playing as a horse named Cyclone at that point. Although that's the implication, if you want the words straight from the horse's mouth, Milo says that "somebody's got to stay and look after this place".
