The incantation was to be recited seven times in a sacred place. They needed the head of a lover, witch's butter, juice of an aralia berry, one petrified spider, and one drop of thy enemy's blood.

After the enchanted hourglass was used, Gilbert was bound to help. His life depended on his finding the items for the spell. The witches were to get the blood of the enemy from Mayor Trask. Gilbert was to gather the other items.

Straight away, he went to the cemetery to dig up William "Billy" Butcherson. He told Billy he wanted to kill Winifred for good! He enlisted Billy's help to gather the other items and swore he would tell the entire community the truth that Billy did not love Winifred. It was but one kiss in 1653. His plan was to trick Billy into gathering the items and then he would take his head.

When they saw one man holding two men's heads underwater as they tried bobbing for apples, the sisters became giddy. They found it funny and said they liked the festival! When the sisters saw the winner with an apple in his mouth, Winifred thought maybe they were going to "roast him on a spit".

First, they lit Angelica leaves and then they recited "lift the curse and let us out". The stairs rolled down for them to climb to the door and walk out. They wanted to get to Cassie's before the witches so they could warn the sisters were coming for her dad.

Winifred grabbed the trophy from the winner and threw it at a judge. She announced she was there for the blood of the mayor. The sisters proceeded to cast a spell on the crowd with their rendition of "One Way or Another".

Becca, Cassie, and Izzy formed a salt circle in the garage, trapping the sisters inside. The teens left to find the Mayor but he made it home before they found him. He opened the garage door thinking the sisters were friends of Cassie's left over from the party. The Mayor hilariously referred to the sisters as the "Golden Girls".

Mary's Roombas, aka the "broomies" followed her. They headed toward the circle and vacuumed the salt, clearing the path for the sisters to leave.

Her sisters were what she valued most. Once the spell was spoken, the sisters each shot magic from their fingers. Winifred became powerful, but Mary and Sarah evaporated. Winifred became very sad, missing her sisters. She begged Becca to help her with Book. Winifred thought the spell Becca spoke would bring the sisters back, but instead, it sent Winifred to the sisters.

She began to evaporate, and told the three teens how lucky they were to have each other before she was gone.

The final scenes showed Gilbert returning to the forest with Billy and realizing the sisters were gone. Billy got his head back and evaporated. Gilbert offered to take the book back to the shop but Becca said she was keeping it. It showed the three girls walking in true Sanderson-sister style. Becca was holding Book and they discussed how it was a normal Halloween with finding out Becca was a witch.

Becca quickly opened a bag of salt and made a salt ring. As she poured the salt, it glowed blue. By doing this, Becca and Izzy were protected. When Winifred tried to cast a spell on them, it ricocheted and the teens were able to escape. When there were hints of magic happening, you would see a blue glow. She did show magic in the dungeon, garage, and in the final forest scenes, but the drugstore came first.
