Sam and Salt fly the loach in the path of the Sandman. Sam tells the pilots that their government is lying to them, that there is a cure, and that the government had been illegally making the virus for over 30 years. He also guarantees them that people have made it out of Cedar Creek, so by bombing the town they aren't killing the virus. Sam tells them that they are not moving from their flight path, and that they'll have to go through them to bomb the town.

The pilots are visibly upset, but after almost crashing into the loach they proceed to drop the bomb.

As Sam and Salt look helplessly, they realize that Sandman has dropped the bomb in the ocean. When McClintock hears Sam say 'thank you' to Sandman, he demands to know where Sandman dropped the bomb.

The pilots tell him that they had detonation over the water. McClintock tells them that it is his belief that they defied orders, and he tells them to come back to reload. They told him that it was possibly wind shear that caused the bomb to detonate over the ocean.

Lieutenant Colonal Briggs, who all through the movie had to put up with McClintock harassing him, arrested McClintock, as per General Ford. Briggs was visibly ecstatic at this.

General Ford tells Sandman, and tells the personnel in the room, that McClintock is being arrested for withholding vital information from the President of the United States. McClintock tells Ford, 'if I go down, you go down'.

After Sam and Salt return with Betsy, Saul brings her to the laboratory and begins to retrieve her life saving blood. Meanwhile, Sam goes to Robbie, who is dying from the virus. He takes off his protective helmet, and lets her touch his face. This is why he needed the antiserum because he was exposed to the virus. The shot was given in his left arm.

Sam tells this to Robbie after the antiserum heals her. She asks him if that is how much he received, and he said yes.

Robbie tells Sam that maybe she would, but only because she now has the anitbodies.

Black and White Capuchin monkeys are medium sized primates that live Central and South America. They are name for Capuchin friars because of their black or brown bodies, with white chests, faces and throats. Their heads are topped by what looks like a little black cap. Their bodies are anywhere from 12-22 inches in length, and their tails are as long as their bodies.
