Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Who is the song "Call Me When You're Sober" about?

Answer: Shaun Morgan, the lead singer of the band Seether

Shaun Morgan was Amy Lee's boyfriend for a couple years. They even toured together, but eventually they broke up. She decided to write a song about him, and that's how 'Call Me When You're Sober' came about.

"I think it's impossible to hide how obvious it is," said Amy Lee. "The day that our single hit the airwaves, my ex-boyfriend said he was going into rehab and cancelled their tour. I haven't ever said right out who it was about, but it's about the big relationship I was in, and the whole break-up, which was really long. The breaking up and the hard stuff in our relationship happened sort of after I was out of the spotlight for a while and writing. It wasn't in any way public. I was trying to kind of be discreet about it, and then he totally came out and said he was going to rehab. It was shocking to me. It kind of made for a more interesting story."
2. Fill in the blank: "...Our burning ashes _______ the day..."

Answer: blacken

You can hear this in the song 'Sweet Sacrifice'.

"I dream in darkness / I sleep to die / erase the silence / erase my life / our burning ashes / blacken the day / a world of nothingness / blow me away."
3. Who wrote the song "Sweet Sacrifice"?

Answer: Amy Lee and Terry Balsamo

Amy Lee actually wrote all of the songs on this album. Terry Balsamo helped on a few.
4. What is the missing word? "I long to be like you / lie _____ in the ground like you".

Answer: cold

You can hear this in the song 'Like You'.
5. "Stoplight lock the door" is the first line in what song?

Answer: 'Snow White Queen'

'Snow White Queen' is about someone who stalked Amy Lee.

"It's about stalkers," Lee says. "I'm that person, I am the Snow White Queen. I've had a few different stalkers, and the way I wrote it, the perspectives change. The second verse is my perspective, the choruses are the stalker's perspective. It's creepy and cool."
6. What is the last word in the song "Call Me When You're Sober"?

Answer: Mind

'Call Me When Your Sober' is about Amy Lee's ex-boyfriend, Shaun Morgan.
7. The song 'Lithium' is a remake of Nirvana's 'Lithium'.

Answer: false

'Lithium' was written by Amy Lee. It just happens to have the same name as one of Nirvana's songs.
8. Fill in the blank from the song 'Lacrymosa': "Can this be what you really wanted, ____?"

Answer: baby

These lyrics belong in the beginning of the song.
"Out on your own/Cold and alone, again/Can this be what you really want, baby?"
9. "I can't hold on to me/wonder what's wrong me" comes from what song?

Answer: 'Lithium'

"It ('Lithium') is a metaphor for numbness," says Lee. "I've known people on Lithium, and it makes you blank and it makes you not have a personality and it makes you not feel. The song's about how in love I am with my sorrow. And it's true, and it's what makes me a writer: I get into these moods sometimes. I'm not a sad person, but I want to stay in love with my sorrow, too.

The song's concept is to choose to be happy. I want to stay in love with my sorrow, but I also want to let it go."
10. "You belong to me, my _____ ______ _______" What are the three missing words?

Answer: Snow White Queen

'Snow White Queen' is also the name of song. Hope you enjoyed playing this quiz!
