1. "Bored To Death"

Answer: Blink 182

The lead single from Blink 182's seventh album, "California", "Bored To Death" went to number one on the US Billboard Alternative Charts in 2016. Most of the band's success was in the mid-2000s and "Bored To Death" became their first chart topper in twelve years.
2. "Death To My Hometown"

Answer: Bruce Springsteen

"Death To My Hometown" was the third single on Springsteen's 2012 LP, "Wrecking Ball". The song was a protest song about the financial crisis hitting New Jersey in 2007-2008. Although not a US single, the song was a mainstay at the Wrecking Ball Tour by the E Street Band.
3. "Death On Two Legs"

Answer: Queen

In 1975, Freddie Mercury had enough of Queen's original manager, Howard Sheffield. He wrote a biting commentary about an unnamed despicable man in the band's single "Death On Two Legs". The track was the first song on Queen's classic LP, "A Night At The Opera".

"Death Or Glory" was originally recorded by punk pioneers, The Clash. Social Distortion recorded a cover of the classic for the skateboard themed film, "Dogstown" in 2005.
7. "Death To All But Metal"

Steel Panther's biggest claim to fame is their outrageous love of Hair Metal and their parodies of the genre. "Death To All But Metal" has controversial lyrics that rock radio wouldn't touch but their fans have made it the band's biggest hit.

Canadian rockers Sum 41 released "A Death In The Family" in 2019 as a single on their "Order In Decline" album. Like many of the punk inspired rock songs, there are soft moments amplified by huge guitar riffs in the intro and the outro.

Answer: White Lion

From their 1991 album, "Mane Attraction", White Lion released the power ballad "Till Death Do Us Part". As the title alludes the sensitive ballad is the perfect theme for a wedding with the opening words, "As we walk the golden mile down the pretty aisle".
10. "The Lonesome Death of Hattie Carroll"

Answer: Bob Dylan

"The Lonesome Death of Hattie Carroll" was a protest song by Bob Dylan in 1964. The grim theme was a true story of a racially motivated killing in Maryland.
