Theodor Geissel (aka: Dr. Seuss) was not a real doctor. He was, however, given an honorary doctorate from his alma mater, Dartmouth. His father wanted Theodor to study medicine, but Theodor went into drawing cartoons instead. To appease his father, Theodor took the nom de plume of Dr. Seuss when writing children's literature.

Theodor Geissel (aka: Dr. Seuss) was married twice. He outlived his first wife, Helen, and married her best friend Audrey in 1968. Theodor died from cancer in 1991. Audrey died in 2018.

In the year Sophia Loren gave the quote, Igor Cassini was using the pseudonym. In 1961, Sophia Loren's quote was entered into "Speaker's Encyclopedia of Humor: Stories, Quotes, Definitions, Toasts for Every Situation".

Tom Stoppard wrote "Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead" in 1964 and 1965 while in London. Rosencratz, Hamlet's childhood friend, is having a monologue on what it's like to die and then be buried in a box.

While in prison, Hoffa wasn't be able to run any of his businesses or read any mail that has to do with his businesses.

In the story, a lion catches a scared mouse and lets the mouse go when the mouse says he will repay the lion someday if the lion lets him go. The lion lets the mouse go and days later is saved by the mouse when he chews through a net that is holding the lion.
