Jeff became the third person ever to win 4 WC championships. He is also the youngest to do so. Gordon has done it much faster than either of his predecessors. He won his fourth championship just three months after turning 30, and in just his ninth full season. Petty didn't win his fourth title until he was 35 and in his 13th season, while Earnhardt claimed his fourth crown at 39 and also in his 13th season.
