Hall of Famer Tim Keefe played from 1880-1893 mainly for the Giants. In 1886, he was 42-20 with 64 games started, 62 complete games, and 535 innings pitched. Jim Kaat won 283 games from 1959-1982 mainly for the Twins. Kaat was an excellent hitter and fielder. Jerry Koosman won 222 games from 1967-1985 mainly for the Mets. Wee Willie Keeler was a hitter. Keeler coined the phrase, "Hit em where they ain't."

For the era he had a very high 175 complete games and pitched in three World Series wins with the Tigers in 1984 and the Blue Jays in 1992-1993. Dennis Martinez won 245 games maninly for the Expos and Orioles from 1976-1998. Hall of Famer Juan Marichal won 243 games mainly for the Giants from 1960-1975. Famous for his high kick, Marichal always seemed to pitch in the shadow of Sandy Koufax.

In 1966, Marichal was 25-6 and lost the Cy Young to Koufax.

Kid Nichols pitched from 1890-1906 manily for the Boston Beaneaters (Braves). The Hall of Famer won 30 or more games seven times in his career. Hall of Famer Phil Niekro won 318 games from 1964-1987 mainly for the Braves. Phil's younger brother Joe Niekro won 221 games from 1967-1988 mainly for the Astros.

The Niekro's were pedominantly knuckleball pitchers. Bobo Newsom won 211 games from 1929-1953 for nine different frnachises. Newsom had five separate tours of duty with the Washington Senators.
