After Gracen told the guys about the $200 toaster, Laird began to suspect that Leila made more money than Gracen. To add insult to injury, Marmaduke called to tell Gracen that he got a job through an online interview and would be making more money than his dad. Laird convinced Dougie and Aubrey that they needed to get rid of the toaster to help out Gracen, so they broke into his house. Gracen caught them stealing the toaster, as well as a blender and bottle of wine just to make it look more realistic. Leila came downstairs and Gracen found out the truth about all the money she had in her bank account.

Driving to work, Laird began singing along to "Come on Eileen". The others soon joined in, but Laird stopped them when they sang something different than he did. Everyone insisted they were right so Laird settled it by pressing the OnStar button. When asked if it was an emergency, Laird said "Yeah. Sort of".

They explained where in the song they were and the operator told them the correct line. The episode revolved around Laird asking to borrow Gracen's wedding ring because he wanted to interest a woman who only liked married men. Laird also made up imaginary children and even put a picture of Marmaduke in his office. Seeing his picture in Laird's office, Marmaduke began to suspect that Laird was his father.

The show closed with the guys in the car singing "Come on Eileen".

Answer: Tuna fish

Laird put the tuna fish on the cool carpool's engine after they threw ice cream on Aubrey's car. Laughing at their prank, they wondered about what they'd done after they saw the car on fire by the side of the road. They agreed to keep it to themselves, because what happens in the carpool stays in the carpool, but Dougie warned that they'd all feel guilty. Dougie's warning turned out to be true, but after calling a meeting with the cool carpool, they found out the car had been set on fire for insurance money. Also in the episode, Marmaduke introduced his own ATM which was vandalized after people became angry about the $8 service charge.

The episode opened with the guys playing the air drum to "In the Air Tonight" by Phil Collins on the way to work. Aubrey volunteered to be the Harass Captain after the seminar, but when he tried to confiscate Laird's box of porn, he spilled it in the hall and was seen by the human resources director, Dorrit. Laird later altered Aubrey's Harass Captain badge by marking out a few letters, which, when combined with some other incidents, made Aubrey look increasingly like a harassser to Dorrit. After a little investigating around the office, Dorrit found out that the women in the building didn't even know who Aubrey was, but they sure knew about Laird.

Dougie was ecstatic about winning tickets to the concert, but Cindy refused to go because she didn't want to leave baby Reggie with a babysitter. The guys told Dougie he should fight with Cindy about going to the concert, but Dougie said he and Cindy never fought.

After a feeble attempt at a fight, Dougie told Cindy that Gracen, Aubrey and Laird were going to watch the baby. Cindy agreed, but once she and Dougie got to the concert, she revealed that she snuck the baby out of the house and he was in the back seat.

They agreed that they'd rather spend time together, and went home to find their babysitters in a tizzy because they thought a coyote had taken the baby. Also in the episode, Marmaduke found out that Gracen had wanted to name him Bob. Marmaduke began acting and dressing like a Bob, but went back to being Marmaduke because statistically he thought it would keep his parents from divorcing.

Laird decided that his looks were fading so he started clarinet lessons after Gracen suggested he get a hobby. But even when Laird tried to impress by playing his clarinet at work, the handsomest man pulled out a harmonica and started playing much better than Laird.

The handsomest man befriended Aubrey and the two went clothes shopping together, but Aubrey found out the guy was a shoplifter. Later, after the guys had toilet papered the handsomest man's house, they saw him remove his hairpiece, revealing that he was bald. Laird felt better and went dancing down the street.

Everyone was mad at Laird because they figured karma was going to get them for parking in the handicapped spot, especially after they got caught. Gracen was trying to drive the carpool the next day, but ended up running over Laird's feet, landing Laird in a wheelchair. Laird stayed at Aubrey's house, but inadvertently cost Aubrey his favorite babysitter. Dougie was afraid that karma was going to get him next, so he and Marmaduke (guilty about the take a penny job he'd had) built a ramp for Laird's wheelchair up Laird's very steep steps. Laird ended up rolling down the ramp, hitting Gracen.

At the disciplinary hearing with the parking committee, both men were in wheelchairs. Laird accepted responsibility for what he did and the carpoolers begged the committee not to punish them.

This begging apparently didn't work because at the end they were shown riding the shuttle from the satellite parking lot.

When Aubrey played a CD of his daughter's horrible piano playing in the car, Dougie mentioned that he wouldn't mind attending her upcoming recital. This angered Gracen and Laird who tried to come up with excuses not to go. Laird was the angriest and explained to Dougie, after strapping him into his dentist chair, that they shouldn't do non-carpool things together, it would disrupt the carpool. Laird later got back at Aubrey for the time they had to sit and listen to the recital, causing an argument between the two. Gracen was called to mediate, but after he had a medical emergency, they all admitted that they were friends as well as carpoolers.

After Laird invested in his business, it seemed that Marmaduke's idea was working. Everyone in the neighborhood was using Marmaduke's service, and he was making lots of money. He did neglect one thing though, the sheep weren't moved and ended up eating all of the grass within the range of their tethers, resulting in a lot of angry neighbors. Laird explained to Gracen that he should support Marmaduke and encourage him to accomplish his dreams. Meanwhile, Dougie thought he was boring and began embellishing his life by having magnetic flames on his car and playing hip hop music.

On Take Your Daughter to Work Day, Aubrey's daughter, Michelle, was sitting in the front seat of the car, so Laird, Dougie and Gracen all had to squeeze into the back seat. Just before arriving at Aubrey's cubicle, Michelle asked him if he had a large office.

He looked at his cubicle, hesitated, and said yes, as he led her into his boss' office. A series of mishaps occurred, resulting in Aubrey being fired and led out of the building by security. After a day or two of depression and trying to sell Green Queen products for Cindy, Aubrey went back to collect his things at the office.

When his boss came out and asked where Aubrey had been, Aubrey said that he'd fired him. His boss admitted that he only said that because his daughter was there, and asked, "Didn't you see me wink?"
