ACP Pradyuman is the highest ranked officer in the series. He is the boss of all the others. His right hand man is Abhijit in 2010. He is known to shake his hand a lot and look at you with big evil eyes. He had joined "C.I.D" in 1997 when it had started.

Daya is the strongest officers of the entire "C.I.D." team and he is usually known to break open doors and slap the criminal in the end. He was known to be dead in one episode after getting shot, but he survived.

Answer: Fredricks

Officer Fredricks is known as the clown of all the members. He is usually laughed at. Vivek is known to play pranks on him a lot. He is also scared of his wife. But, sometimes Fredricks thinks up of intelligent ideas too.

Answer: Dr. Salunkhe

Dr. Salunkhe is always underestimated by the C.I.D. gang. He is mostly known to be in his lab trying to find clues left by the criminals. He usually lets the officers and ACP Pradyuman know how the victim had died. He is made fun of by ACP a lot.

Abhijit tries to flirt with Dr. Tarika whenever he talks to her. Tarika is shown to have a crush on Abhijit too. The rest of the C.I.D. team often makes fun of Abhijit because of the way he acts around her. He often says that everything Tariks says and does is so perfect. This often annoys Dr. Salunkhe.

"The Inheritance" is an episode shot continuously for 111 minutes. This broke the record and put "C.I.D." in the "Guinness Book of World Records" and the "Limca Book of Records". This special episode was aired on 7th November, 2004.

Answer: Salman Khan

Salman Khan made a guest appearance as himself in the episode "Khooni Piracy Racket". He was there to promote his upcoming film "Wanted". He played the role of an actor who was concerned that his film was being sold before the release date and then later, the C.I.D. members caught the culprit.

Answer: "Aakhri Chunauti"

"Aakhri Chunauti" is a Hindi word which means "Last Warning" in English. This series showed C.I.D. members being kidnapped by a huge gang. They were held captive and were given dangerous drugs too. In the end, ACP Pradyuman, Daya, and Abhijit are shown alive and they end up in Paris, France to catch the criminal.

The criminal 'HD', also known as Harpeez Dongora was portrayed by Mahesh Manjrekar. In the end, the entire C.I.D. team is alive after a bomb explosion.

Answer: "Jab Daya ka hath kissi pe padtha hai to muh se piano bajne lagta hai"

Daya started saying this in the last episode of "Aakhri Chunauti" and he said it for a few episodes after that, but he stopped later on. "Ek baar jo maine commitment kardi, toh phir main apne aap ki bhi nahi sunta" is a quote of Salman Khan's character in the movie "Wanted". "Tawaif ki luthti izzat bachana aur daya ke samne jhoot bolna - dono bekar hain" is an altered version of a quote from "Tees Maar Khan".

Answer: Dr. Sonali

Dr. Sonali and Dr. Salunkhe are known to overpower each other's facts in the lab. They are both tough competitors and they are basically in the same rank. Also, Dr. Sonali once said in an episode that Dr. Salunkhe used to cheat in his tests.
