Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. The opening scene takes place in a spacious house, lavishly decorated, and replete with scantily clad women. The focus however, is on the male adult film actor. As he makes his theatrical entrance, he is subjected to bright lighting. What happens to him?

Answer: The actor complains that his eyes feel like they are exploding.

The extremely bright set lights engulf the actor in torrents of pain. The pain appears to originate in his eyes. He is beset with acute photophobia. The set director demands that the lights be extinguished and summons an ambulance.
2. Foreman and House debate over the selection of their next patient. Foreman's choice is an infant. House's choice is an ailing adult film star. How is the argument resolved?

Answer: Cuddy delivers House's medical license reinstatement.

Foreman wants to treat the "infant as limp as a rag doll," while House wants to treat the porn actor who collapsed on the set from photophobia. It appears that Foreman is about to trump House's choice, as Foreman is technically still in charge of the department. Cuddy arrives though, delivering the reinstated medical license to House. Resignedly, Foreman says, "House is back in charge. We get to treat a porn star."
3. Foreman conducts the initial interview with the selected patient. In addition, Foreman administers all of the prescribed medical tests on the patient. Why is Foreman taking on all of this responsibility?

Answer: Chase and Cameron have tendered their resignations.

Chase confides in Cameron about the incident with Dibala. Cameron appears to forgive Chase without reservation, but she suggests that they move on. So, Chase announces that they are leaving the team as well as the hospital. This leaves Foreman to fend for himself for the time being.
4. House must assemble a new team. He proceeds on the premise that what has worked in the past should work again. Who is the first person that House approaches? (plastic surgeon)

Answer: Taub

Taub seems to be content with his new cosmetic surgery practice. He states that he leaves the office at six o'clock every day and his wife is happy. House coerces Taub by providing the details of the current case, thus enticing Taub to solve a puzzle.
5. Undeniably overwhelmed with the regimen of tests to perform and concomitant diagnostics, Foreman attempts to enlist the aid of Cameron and Chase. Initially reluctant, Cameron and Chase accede to Foreman's requests. What does Foreman tell them that persuades them to stay?

Answer: "You owe me this."

Cameron, and more importantly Chase cannot refuse Foreman's request after Foreman looks them directly in the eyes and says, "You owe me this." Cameron and Chase know exactly to which act Foreman is referring. It's an awkward moment for Chase, but Cameron seems to take it in stride.
6. House observes Chase in the surgical theater from above. House begins by saying, "I owe you an apology." He tries to continue by saying, "I was ...," but fails to say the word. Which word does House pretend to not be able to enunciate?

Answer: wrong

House amusingly pretends, with great anguish, not to be able to say that he was wrong. Chase quickly dismisses House's antics by replying, "What were you wrong about?" House proceeds to dissect the intentions and issues surrounding Cameron's sudden acceptance and forgiveness.
7. House is trying to entice Thirteen to return to the team. Thirteen exclaims that she has a very viable employment alternative. What does this happen to be?

Answer: It's a position at a community health clinic.

Thirteen ostensibly objects to House's efforts to recruit her back to the team. House suggests that she should have more ambition. She appears to have a particularly astute insight into House's methods and madness and dismisses his offer.
8. Attempts to reach a conclusive diagnosis have reached an impasse. House decides to enlist additional help with the case. What does he do?

Answer: He faxes the symptoms to Taub and Thirteen.

House continues his efforts to recruit his old team members. He sends a fax to Taub and Thirteen which lists the symptoms and current state of the patient. At first, Taub and Thirteen are reluctant to respond to House. Eventually, their desire to solve problems in the diagnostic setting prevails.
9. Of the prior team members, only one refuses to rejoin the team. Which one is it?

Answer: Cameron

Cameron enters House's office. House believes that he has been successful in persuading all of the former team members to reunite by saying, "four for four." However, Cameron confesses her love for House. "I was in love with you." She also states that she loved Chase.

In a tearful and poignant departure, Cameron extends her hand. House refuses to acknowledge this gesture. Cameron then gives House a farewell kiss on the cheek.
10. The trials and tribulations of relationships are portrayed in this episode. In the mixture, it appears that one relationship perseveres. Which pair appears to be happy?

Answer: Cuddy and Lucas

In the final scene, Cuddy and Lucas can be seen leaving the hospital arm in arm. House, in apparent resignation observes from above. Cuddy and Lucas seem happy in their somewhat unlikely relationship.
