Maria's Return: 2002-2003 Trivia Quiz

Maria's backside was shown in her first scene when she returned from the dead in June 2002. She was working at a hospital and someone said she was a natural with kids. She thanked him for the compliment and stated how she wanted to have children of her own someday. What she did not know is she already had two kids. The reason for her not knowing this detail is she suffered from amnesia.

It was revealed that David lied to Maria about killing someone and this led to her going on the run. When people started coming after her, Maria once frantically called him about it.

Hayley and Mateo's son Lorenzo had grown ill and he needed a transplant to help him out. The doctors said that his aunt Maria was a match but Mateo mentioned that she had "died" five years earlier. In one scene, Mateo was on the phone with Maria since she called him about this news. Mateo mentioned on the phone that they found another match in Tim Dillon. Maria congratulated him and hung up. Mateo was shocked since he noticed the voice sounded familiar.
