Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. In "To Sprong, With Love", Sam was assigned to capture an escaped soul by using a mallard. The episode title referred to Mr. Sprong. What subject did Mr. Sprong teach Sam back in high school?

Answer: Biology

Sam never liked his biology teacher, Mr. Sprong. Sprong made fun of his students. Sam was surprised to see that Sprong's head was bleeding when he hit his head with the mallard because that mallard was supposed to be the vessel that would send Sprong back to hell.

It was Andi who later realized that Sprong was not the escaped soul. Instead, Sprong was the victim whom the escaped soul was going after.
2. In "To Sprong, With Love", Ted wanted Sock to wear the wrench costume and became the mascot for the Work Bench. On the other hand, what was the costume of the Bargain Bench?

Answer: Hammer

The Bargain Bench hired an old lady to wear the hammer costume. Sock and the old lady got into a hilarious fight in their mascot costumes. When Sock found out that it was an old lady in the hammer costume, he stopped fighting and felt terribly sorry for what he had done.
3. In "To Sprong, With Love", Sam had a difficult time to capture the escaped soul. The soul could teleport from one place to another. Who captured the soul in the end?

Answer: Sprong

Sam knew that the soul was going after Mr. Sprong. However, Sprong did not believe Sam. He thought it was ridiculous to have an escaped soul from hell going after him. When the soul could not get his hands on Sprong, he kidnapped Andi. He threatened to kill Andi if Sam did not hand over Sprong to him. Sam gave the mallard to Sprong in secret and he hit the soul hard with the vessel, sending him back to hell.
4. In "Business Casualty", Sam woke up and found himself lying on a bed. Apparently, the escaped soul, who was butcher had strapped him to the bed. What vessel did Sam use to capture the butcher?

Answer: A horn

The Devil showed up and Sam frantically asked for his help. The Devil refused and said that it would be more exciting if he stood there and watched. Sam eventually tricked the butcher. He used the horn to send the soul back to hell.
5. In "Business Casualty", Nina introduced Sock to her demon friend, Maggie. What special ability did Maggie possess?

Answer: She could transform herself into anyone she desired.

Sock was amazed by Maggie's ability. He later gave her a photo of her dream girl and asked her to meet him again that night. Sock was really hoping that Maggie would transform into his dream girl but Maggie said she was not actually going to do that.
6. In "Business Casualty", Sam's father, John informed him that he had now got the information that would help Sam break his deal with the Devil. Who did Sam send to hell to obtain the information from his father?

Answer: Nina

At first, Nina refused because she thought that was way too risky. However, after much persuasion, she agreed. She brought back the information Sam needed on a piece of paper. However, the information was written in ancient demon handwriting so Sam needed a demon to translate it for him.
7. In "The Devil and Sam Oliver", Sam was given a machete from the Devil to capture an escaped soul, who was a drug dealer. After Sock chopped off the soul's tongue, what animal did Ben rescue from the house?

Answer: Toad

Ben loved animals. He rescued a tank full of toads from the house. He kept his rabbit, King Charlie in Sock's house.
8. In "The Devil and Sam Oliver", Steve showed up in the Work Bench and he helped Sam translate the scroll that his father passed to Nina in hell. According to Steve, what did Sam have to wear in order for him to have a meeting with the Devil?

Answer: The same suit that the Devil wore

Steve tried to translate the scroll. According to him, the word "reflected" was mentioned in the scroll. He said Sam had to wear the same suit that the Devil wore so that Sam would look exactly the same like the Devil and this was the so-called "reflected Devil".
9. In "The Devil and Sam Oliver", Steve informed Sam that in order for Sam to break his deal with the Devil, he needed to beat the Devil in a competition. What game did Sam come up with?

Answer: Quarters

Sam had to figure out a game that he was really good at. He came up with the idea of the quarters game. In his first match with the Devil, Sam landed all five quarters in a glass. However, much to his surprise, the game ended in a draw.
10. In "The Devil and Sam Oliver", Andi offered her own soul to the Devil in order for Sam to get a rematch with the Devil. However, Sam could not finish the game. Why was that so?

Answer: Steve showed up and broke his hand.

Andi said that was the only way Sam could break his deal with the Devil. Steve showed up and broke Sam's hand. Sam could not finish the game and as a result, the Devil now had Andi's soul as well.
