"Sanctuary" Episode 'Veritas' Trivia Quiz

Answer: In an alley

Will: "Where is he?"
Declan: "Just calm down."
Will: "Don't tell me to calm down. I want to see him. Where is he? How the hell did this happen?"
Declan: "We're still piecing it together. They found him last night in an alley near the shipyards."

Answer: She had Bigfoot's blood on her coat.

Declan: "I didn't believe it either, at first."
Will: "At first?"
Declan: "We ran ballistics on the bullets we pulled from the body. They came from Magnus's nine mil."
Will: "So?"
Declan: "And she had gunshot residue on her coat."

Later in the episode, a video is discovered in which we see Helen shoot Bigfoot.

Answer: She can't remember anything from the past week.

Helen: "Will! Oh, thank God."
Will: "You okay?"
Helen: "How could I be? They're telling me that I killed one of my dearest friends."
Will: "What do you mean 'telling you'?"
Helen: "I don't remember what happened. Honestly, I have... I have absolutely no memory of the past week."

Answer: "You're asking me? I think she's a weirdo pretty much all the time."

Kate: "Come on. Let's look around. Get those freaky eyeballs of yours into action."
Will: "Have you noticed Magnus acting strangely lately?"
Kate: "You're asking me? I think she's a weirdo pretty much all the time."
Will: "Declan said that the big guy told him that she was starting to slip."
Kate: "Like Amy Winehouse slip?"
Will: "I don't know if screaming at paparazzi is quite her speed."

Answer: The address didn't exist.

Kate: "It's probably nothing. Last week she sends me this e-mail, asking me to pick up a new intake. I go to the address, but it...wasn't there."
Will: "The abnormal wasn't there?"
Kate: "No, like the whole building wasn't there. The address didn't exist."

Answer: Scans of Helen's brain

Henry: "Oh, hey, I managed to get into the Doc's computer. Felt like crap doing it."
Will: "What'd you get?"
Henry: "I'm just getting started, but I did find these."
Will: "Brain scans?"
Henry: "Yeah, going back six years. Doc's been scanning herself regularly. The most recent one is two weeks ago."

Answer: "That you don't even know my name."

Will: "Can I get you--?"
Emma: "No. We ate on the way here... I'm sorry. When we begin an investigation, it's really very hard not to read everybody's thoughts. You see, the first emotions we sense are often the most important."
Will: "Okay, so what am I thinking now?"
Emma: "That you don't even know my name. Emma Correia."
Will: "Nice to meet you. I just wish it could have been under more pleasant circumstances."

Answer: Henry

Henry was still busy digging up information, trying to prove Helen innocent. Ironically, what he finds actually proves her guilty. Go figure. Emma was there, of course, since she was one of the interrogators and Will and Declan were just there to observe.

Answer: Helen has symptoms of dementia.

Right after the interrogation, Emma says to Will, "Her mind is chaotic, damaged. I've seen this type of thing before. Symptoms of advanced dementia. It makes it impossible to read her thoughts, even with basic prompts to focus them."

Answer: That he be put in charge of Helen's Sanctuary

Will: "What the hell are you trying to pull?"
Declan: "Sorry?"
Will: "You sent an e-mail to the heads of household, requesting to be put in charge of this Sanctuary."
Declan: "You read my e-mail?"
Will: "You were trying to discredit Magnus before the triad renders judgment because you want her job!"

Answer: Declan and Scofield

Helen: "No, you don't understand. They're all out to get me."
Will: "Who?"
Helen: "Declan, and that other one, what's his name? Scofield! They're working together."
Will: "How do you know?"
Helen: "Isn't it obvious?"

Answer: Will is the real murderer.

Helen rants for a bit and says quite a bit so I cut a lot out, but this is the main part.

Helen: "Will, they're trying to kill me! Look. Look at this. It's poison. They're going to destroy everything. Ashley told me."
Will: "Magnus, this has nothing to do with Ashley."
Helen: "They killed her, too! They killed my daughter!"
Will: "Okay, listen to me! You're exhausted. You need to rest. Look, I swear, I am fighting for you."
Helen: "You're lying! Why is everyone lying to me?"

Answer: She tries to attack them.

Will and Kate go to the storage facility where Kate's contact said he saw Helen go in. They look around for a minute then Helen rushes at them and swings a wooden plank at their heads.

Answer: He wants to continue searching for proof that Helen is innocent.

Emma: "I understand that you're leaving. May I ask why?"
Will: "Don't you know already?"
Emma: "You feel that remaining here will put restraints on your ability to exonerate Doctor Magnus."

Answer: Chilean Shepherd Frog

Kate: "Oh, okay, so spill. What is the gag on the big guy?"
Helen: "The subcutaneous fascial layer on his species is four times thicker than that on humans."
Will: "The bullets didn't penetrate."
Kate: "But Henry examined him. I mean, he was dead."
Helen: "In a manner of speaking. I tipped the bullets with a secretion of a Chilean Sheppard frog. It slowed his heart enough to feign death."
