Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Really You

Answer: Lily D.

"Really You" begins by showing us some dolls. Then we see a doll head being made. The maker of the doll says "Do you see? This is wrong. She's not good" and then throws the head.

We then get introduced to the Carbo family. It has a father, a mother, a brother named Brandon, and a sister named Lily. Lily is the main character of the episode. She demands to have whatever she wants instantly. Her mother tells her that they do not have the money to get everything that she wants, but her father buys whatever she wants because he doesn't like to see her unhappy. Brandon tells his father that it is not a good idea to give Lily whatever she wants and that he should give her some chores, but the father just tells him to be quiet.

A truck arrives with the words "Really You" written on it to let us know the name of the company. The company introduces Lily to her new doll. The doll is called "Lily D." because it is designed to look exactly like Lily. It wears the same clothes as Lily. It has a card that says "You'll never find a friend so true as the girl who's really you." The doll's head is the same head as the one that was shown at the beginning of the episode. The company then convinces the father to pay extra money so they can take Lily, her mother, and Lily D. to a salon to get their hair done.

Lily shows off the doll to her friends. She brags about how great her doll is and makes her friends feel bad for having smaller dolls. One of her friends tells Lily that Lily D. told a secret to her doll. The friend reveals the secret: Lily D. does not like Lily. Lily gets angry and rips off her friend's doll's leg.

Lily's mother offers money to the friend's mom for a new doll, but she rejects it. Lily's mother then goes to Lily's room and tells her that she did a bad thing. Lily shows no remorse for what she did, and she says she doesn't care if her friend never comes back. The mother, seeing that Lily only cares about Lily D., takes Lily D. away.

Up to this point in the episode, I feel the mother had been a good mother. She'd been trying to convince the father not to spoil Lily so much. Taking Lily D. away was one of my favorite parenting acts in the entire "Haunting Hour" series. It had to be done. However, the mother's behavior changes once she has Lily D.

The mother strokes Lily D.'s hair, praises it for being well-behaved, and gives it a hug. Then, we see Lily D.'s arm move. At breakfast, Lily D. is sitting next to the mother. Brandon is not pleased to learn that Lily D. is there as his mom's guest rather than Lily's. Gradually, the mother begins to love Lily D. more than she loves Lily.

Lily D. knocks a pitcher of coffee onto the mother's laptop. Only Lily saw it happen. Everyone else thinks Lily did it. She tells them that Lily D. did it, but they think that it's ridiculous to say that a doll did it.

The mother makes the doll sleep in the parents' bed. The father wakes up and secretly brings it back to Lily. In the morning, the doll is back in the parents' bed. The father thinks that the mother took it back from Lily and put it back in their bed.

The next morning, Lily complains that her neck is stiff. Her father thinks he just slept funny. Her mother feeds breakfast to the doll and forgets to feed Lily until Lily reminds her. Brandon tries to tell the mother that it's ridiculous that she is treating the doll like a person. The mother says that the doll is a "her" and not an "it." The mother tells Lily that Lily D. would like her if she stopped doing bad stuff and blaming the doll.

The father goes away on a business trip. He plans on making a deal that will make him very rich so that the entire family can have "Really You" dolls. Then, we see Lily D.'s head move. For a little while, none of the parents are home, so Lily looks for Lily D. but can't find her. Meanwhile, we see some shoes moving by themselves.

Lily's head hurts and she somehow has black paint on her hands. The mother returns home. Lily tells her that she hid Lily D., but the mother says Lily D. is on the chair in her room. Lily says that the doll is not there and she checked. The mother is not pleased to learn that Lily went into the parents' bedroom. The mother is furious to see "BAD GIRL" painted on the wall in her bedroom. Having seen black paint on Lily's hands, the mother believes that Lily did it and refuses to listen to Lily's claims that the doll did it.

Brandon tries to convince Lily that the doll is not alive. He hides a camera in the parents' bedroom to prove to Lily that the doll is not alive. At night, we see Lily D. right in front of the camera. The next morning, Brandon finds that the memory card is missing from the camera. He tells his mother about this and asks if she is the one who took the memory card, but she is just angry that he hid a camera in the parents' bedroom. She talks to the doll, which makes Brandon even madder. Lily then falls down. She is taken to the hospital, where a doctor tells her that she just has a virus and she'll be fine soon.

While Lily is in the hospital, Brandon and his friend learn more about the doll. Expecting to find a computer chip, they take the doll apart. They discover that a message has been painted over. They remove the paint to reveal the message "Destroy this doll." They go over to the company's building and end up sneaking into the basement of someone's house.

The doll maker catches them and, thinking they are spies from Really You, she threatens to cut their heads off with a hand-held saw. They tell her that they don't work for the company, but they are customers. The show her a photo of the doll. She is very upset to see the doll and says it was supposed to have been destroyed. She tells her that she didn't want to work for "Really You" and she just enjoyed making dolls for the fun of it. Her now-deceased husband convinced the company to destroy her house except for the basement and then build the company's headquarters over her basement. The company and the husband pressured her into making more and more dolls faster and faster. They didn't care about the doll-maker's mental health or the quality of the dolls, all they cared about was money. She tells the boys that all the dolls have souls and they're all content to be dolls except Lily D., who wanted to be human. She tried to destroy it, but her bosses told her to work on other dolls. They told her they'd destroy it, but they didn't. The doll-maker appears to be nearly insane, but anyone would be insane if they were treated the way she was treated. She tells the boys to destroy the doll, so they run home to do it.

At home, Lily D. smashes Lily's mirror. The mother thinks Lily did it and takes the doll away. The mother says to the doll "I wish you were my daughter" right in front of Lily and then takes the doll out of the room. Lily falls down and starts crawling. She looks down at her foot and sees that it has turned to plastic. She crawls over to her parents' room to find her hand has turned to plastic. She screams and then she falls again. After this, it's revealed that Lily and Lily D. have switched places. Lily is now a doll and Lily D. is now a girl that looks like Lily. Lily D. tells her that she always hated her.

Lily D. (posing as Lily) then cleans the kitchen, does the laundry, and cooks food for the whole family. The parents think this is Lily and she has completely turned her attitude around, and they are thrilled. Brandon thinks that something is wrong. Lily D. says that she is done with dolls and throws Lily in the trash can.

The next day, the mother notices that Lily D. (who she thinks is Lily) smells different. She refuses to tell Lily D. that she loves her, and that makes Lily D. mad. Brandon's friend finds Lily (who he thinks is Lily D.) in the trash can on the street. Brandon notices Lily's birthmark on the back of the doll. He tells his mother that it wasn't there before (he knows that because he inspected the back of the doll earlier in the episode). The mother is baffled by this because she only gave the company a photo of Lily's face, not her whole body, so there's no way they could know about a birthmark. Brandon tells his mom that Lily and Lily D. have traded places.

The boys chase Lily D. Lily's mother cries and regrets the way she treated her daughter. The father walks out to see the mother hugging the doll, being the only person in the family who hasn't realized what has happened. The mother explains to him that the doll is really Lily (she recognized the smell and the birthmark). The mom hugs the doll and tells her that she loves her so much. Lily then turns back into a girl and says "I love you too, mommy." Lily D. turns back into a doll and falls onto the road, where it is crushed by a truck. Lily runs over to Brandon to let him know that she's back.

Two other girls find the doll on the sidewalk. While they argue over who should get it, it grabs one of their legs. They scream and run off. The episode ends.
2. A Creature Was Stirring

Answer: Krampus

This is a Christmas episode with two parents, two older siblings, and a young boy named Timmy. The parents are planning a divorce and the older kids are unhappy with their presents. When the four of them leave the living room, Timmy begs Santa Claus for the one present he really wants. Then, a blizzard comes out of nowhere, blows the door open, and puts some snow in the house. The parents lock the door to prevent further damage.

Then, a present magically appears under the tree. Timmy opens it to find the Krampus, a winged, fire-breathing, acid-spitting monster. He tells his parents about it, but they think he is lying because he has made up stories about monsters before. Timmy then tells his older siblings. They don't believe him for a few seconds, but then they see it damaging their rooms and belongings.

The kids go to the hallway to find papers everywhere. When the parents see this, they ask who is responsible. The kids all tell them that it's the Krampus. The parents conclude that all three kids are responsible, and the kids are grounded for a month. The kids look at the papers and see that they are divorce papers. The parents lie and say that they are not getting a divorce. They hear a noise from downstairs. The parents say that they will check it out and send the kids to their rooms.

The parents go to the basement and continue arguing. Finally, they see the monster spitting fire. The parents hurry upstairs and the kids hurry downstairs. They try to leave the house, but the snow is stacked up so high that they can't get through the door or the windows. So they hide in the attic.

While in the attic, the family reminisces of a camping trip they had together. The parents confess that they were going to get a divorce, but they will not get a divorce if they survive this. The family hears explosions as the Krampus blows up things in the house, and then there's a fire in the attic. Initially, they see no windows, but then they find a crack. The father gets a hammer and pries a brick loose to reveal a window.

They all get out of the house safely, albeit covered with dirt. They see that the snow is gone. Timmy thinks that the fire melted it, but the rest of the family is confused because it couldn't have melted the entire block. The family turns around to see the whole house covered in flames. The older members of the family are all sad to lose the house and all their stuff. Timmy showed a family photo that he rescued from the house. In the end, they're all happy because they all have each other and Timmy says it's been the best Christmas ever.

At the end of the episode, Santa arrives in a red limo at the house that used to be the family's house. The Krampus is revealed to be a servant of Santa and it gets in the limo. We then learn that Timmy's wish was to reunite the family. Santa Claus granted Timmy's wish by sending the Krampus to the house, thinking that the best way to reunite the family would be to take away the house and their belongings so all that they'd have is each other.
3. The Dead Body

Answer: Jake Skinner

The protagonist, Will, gets picked on a lot by two bullies. A new kid introduces himself to Will as Jake Skinner and offers to get rid of the bullies. Jake says that he will do this for Will, and then Will will do a favor for him when he needs one. Will agrees.

At a school field trip, the bullies bully him in front of his crush, Anna. This time, they all come across a dead body. Anna runs off to tell the teacher about the body. The body then stands up and screams, scaring the bullies away. The body is Jake Skinner and he reveals himself to Will. Will is very happy that Jake scared the bullies away, but Jake says that he needs to "kick it up a notch." Will agrees to that.

Will finds Anna and tells her that the "dead body" was just a prank that he pulled on the bullies with the help of a new kid named Jake Skinner. Anna doesn't know anyone named Jake Skinner, but she is impressed that Will pranked the bullies. Will asks her to go to a dance with him and she says "yes."

Jake pulls another prank on one of the bullies during the field trip. This time, the bully is so traumatized that the teacher orders everyone back to the bus. The next day, Anna tells Wil that the bully is leaving school indefinitely. She asks Will what he did to the bully. Will just said that he and Jake Skinner played a prank on him. Anna says that there is no new kid named Jake Skinner and walks away. A janitor had overheard the conversation and tells Will that he couldn't have met Jake Skinner because he died in 1961. Jake finds the school's trophy case and inside, there is a memorial to Jake Skinner who died in 1961, with a photo of him.

Jake Skinner appears right behind Will to reveal that he is indeed a ghost. Will is not happy to learn this and he tells Jake that he does not want his help anymore. Jake refuses to accept this because he is having too much fun. Jake goes to the gym and terrorizes the other bully, who was working out alone. Will asks the janitor what he knows about Jake Skinner. The janitor said that Jake Skinner was a "loner" who had no friends because people thought he was strange. The janitor also revealed that two bullies had picked on Jake Skinner, then Jake Skinner played a prank on them to get revenge. The bullies then locked Jake Skinner in a cage in a gym and threw some lit firecrackers there. The gym burned down and almost everyone else got out alive, but Jake Skinner was trapped in the cage and died in the fire.

Somehow, Jake is transported back to 1961 to the moment that Jake Skinner died. Will witnesses the bullies locking Jake Skinner in a cage, telling him that they're doing this because he messed with them, and throwing firecrackers in the cage. When the bullies leave, Will breaks the door open to the cage. Jake leaves the cage, but now Will is trapped inside.

Will is then transported back to the present day, which was in 2010 (the year this episode first aired). It is the night of the dance and it has already started. Will goes to the dance and finds Anna. He apologizes to her for being late, but Anna does not respond at all. Jake Skinner then shows up, alive and well, and asks Anna if she is waiting for someone. Anna said that she was waiting for someone, but she guesses that the feeling was not mutual. Will tells her that it is, but she does not respond. Jake asks Anna to dance with him and she accepts. Will tries to warn her that Jake Skinner is a ghost, but then he walks right through her. Jake Skinner says to him "Now we're even." Will realizes that Jake Skinner had tricked him into trading places with him. At the end of the original "Dead Body" episode, Jake Skinner is alive and Will is a ghost.
4. The Red Dress

Answer: Abigail Raven

The protagonist is Jamie, a girl with glasses who serves snacks at a golf club. Her best friend is her co-worker, who often tries to comfort Jamie and steer Jamie back onto the right path whenever she does something she's not supposed to do. Jamie is unhappy to work there because she is always dealing with people who are significantly richer than her. Most of them don't even bother to learn her name and just call her "snack bar girl." She has a crush on a boy at the club, but she is afraid he will never like her because she wears glasses and doesn't have any fancy clothes.

One day, while Jamie and her friend walk to work together, Jamie notices a store called The Raven's Chest. Against her friend's wishes, Jamie goes into the store. The store has a lot of different items and all of them used to be somebody's prized possession. The item that catches Jamie's attention is a red dress. The owner of the store is a blind woman named Abigail Raven. When Abigail Raven reveals the price of the dress, Jamie realizes that she cannot afford it and she and her friend leave the store.

That night, Jamie returns to the store and tries on the dress. When she hears Abigail Raven coming down the stairs, Jamie runs out of the store while wearing the dress. Jamie did not mean to steal the dress, but she did not return it. Abigail Raven chases her, repeating "You must pay." Jamie gets away, but Abigail Raven says "She'll pay."

Jamie asks Zack out on a date and he says "yes." They go to the movies with Jamie just wearing her regular clothes, which proves that she did not need the red dress to attract him. After the date ends, Jamie hears the sound of Abigail Raven's cane. Jamie runs home and hides in the closet. Her friend comes over and Jamie tells her that she stole the red dress from The Raven's Chest. Her friend begs Jamie to return the dress and Jamie agrees. However, just as Jamie arrives at the store to return the dress, she gets a phone call from her boyfriend. He invites her to a dance and tells her that she needs to wear a dress there. She accepts the invitation and keeps the dress.

Jamie appears at the dance wearing the red dress and not wearing her glasses. Several people are stunned to see her like this. Her friend, who serves drinks at the dance, is not happy at all to see Jamie wearing the dress that she said she'd return and not working at the bar with her. Her boyfriend is very happy to see her this way.

Jamie has everything she wants, but she is not happy because everywhere she looks, she sees Abigail Raven coming for her. She is filled with guilt, so she leaves the dance and runs home. While standing outside her bedroom, she sees the raven from The Raven's Chest. She meekly tells the raven that she can have the dress back and apologizes for stealing it, but her apology is rejected.

Jamie wakes up the next day, wondering why it is so dark at 11 in the morning. She reaches for her glasses but she cannot find them. She opens the window but even though it's bright and sunny outside, she cannot see anything. She realizes that she is blind now and she screams in horror. It is revealed that Abigail Raven now has the glasses that used to be Jamie's glasses and Abigail Raven is no longer blind. She put the glasses in a case in her shop and says "Everyone must pay." The episode ends.
5. Ghostly Stare

Answer: Alice Claiborne

Older sister Lauren and younger brother Mark frequently get into staring contests. Lauren always wins by telling him that she can see into his soul.

Lauren learns that a mall is being built over the cemetery and she is not happy. She goes there to do some grave rubbings. Mark goes with her, hoping that he can see some dead bodies. While there, Mark pulls his hood over his head to cover up his face so she can't see into his soul. Mark shouts at the bodies until Lauren tells him not to.

While doing grave rubbings, Lauren hears a voice that says "I'm so cold." Lauren thinks it's Mark and that he's pulling a prank on her, so she tells him to stop. She returns to her grave rubbings while Mark wanders to another part of the graveyard. Mark slips and falls into a grave and screams. Lauren hears him, calls for him, and looks for him. The ghost who took Mark's body appears right behind her. Lauren thinks it's Mark and she takes him home.

That night, the ghost wakes up Lauren and says "I'm so cold," hoping she will make a fire for him. She says "Look at me." When he refuses, she pulls down his hood and looks at his face. She sees a skeleton and the ghost is forced to tell the truth in his own voice. The ghost tells her that Mark fell into his grave, so he took Mark's body. The ghost says that as long as Mark is in his grave, he has the right to take Mark's body. Lauren goes to the cemetery to find the ghost's grave. The ghost warns her to be careful not to fall into a grave.

While calling for Mark at the cemetery, Lauren meets a ghost named Alice Claiborne. Alice Claiborne says that she is a good ghost and wants to help Lauren find Mark. She tells Lauren to follow her and she will lead her to Mark. Lauren follows her for a while. Alice Claiborne stops to tell Lauren that Mark must get out of the grave before the sun rises or he'll be deceased and trapped in the grave forever while the ghost will forever have Mark's body and be a member of the family.

Alice Claiborne tells Lauren that they have made it to the grave that Mark fell into and she tells Lauren to call for him. Lauren calls for him but Alice Claiborne tells her that she has to get closer or he won't hear her. Lauren gets closer and closer until she falls into the grave. Lauren then sees that Mark is not in that grave and that she had fallen into Alice Claiborne's grave. It turns out that Alice Claiborne is not a good ghost and she had tricked Lauren into falling into her grave. Lauren gets out of the grave and runs away from the other ghosts until she falls into a coffin.

Just before dawn, Mark climbs out of the grave and gets his body back. The ghost meekly says "No" and disappears. Lauren gets out of the coffin and calls for Mark. She gets surrounded by ghosts who repeat "I'm so cold." Lauren tells them that it's almost dawn and no one is getting out. Most of the ghosts aren't willing to give up, but Alice Claiborne tells them that Lauren is right and that they'd all been behaving badly because of the mall being built. Lauren says that she feels bad about the mall being built and she apologizes to one of the ghosts for rubbing his grave. This puts the ghosts at peace and they vanish.

It's a few seconds before dawn and Lauren and Mark try to find each other by playing Marco Polo. Lauren falls into Alice Claiborne's grave and Alice Claiborne takes Lauren's body. Mark finds Alice Claiborne (thinking that she's Lauren) and they go home. At home, Mark gets into a staring contest with Alice Claiborne. Mark wins because ghosts do not like being stared at and is overjoyed to think that he has beaten Lauren in a staring contest for the first time ever. The audience sees Lauren's face turn into a skeleton and at the end of the episode, she says "I'm so cold." It is unknown whether or not Mark ever finds out that's Alice Claiborne and his real sister is dead.
6. Game Over

Answer: Major Mayhem

The episode begins with the main character, a boy named Kelly, playing a video game with his best friend, Gooch. They are playing as a team and against people on other computers. Kelly dominates the game, but he often leaves Gooch to die. On the computer, he gets a message from Major Mayhem saying that he is good and asking if he wants a real challenge. Kelly accepts and Major Mayhem gives him the address.

Kelly decides to go to the address. Gooch tells him that it's a bad idea, but goes with him anyway. On the way, Gooch stops at a bowling alley to buy a drink. When they arrive, Gooch does not go in with him. He waits outside and gives Kelly five minutes, saying that he'll call the cops if Kelly isn't out in time. The inside of the building is a state-of-the-art gaming system. Major Mayhem appears on the computer (not in person) and talks to Kelly. He tells Kelly that he recruits the best gamers in the world for a tournament. They'll compete against each other first, and then the winner will fight the final boss, which is Major Mayhem. If he beats Major Mayhem, he will earn the title of "Game Master." A CD then appears with the name "Z Town" on it. Major Mayhem tells Kelly not to share it with anyone.

When Kelly leaves, he instantly disobeys Major Mayhem's order and tells Gooch about Z Town. Kelly and Gooch play Z Town at Gooch's house at night. It starts off like a normal video game. Then all of a sudden, the lights go out and the sun comes up. The house is completely silent and we do not hear the usual shouting from Gooch's family.

The boys go upstairs to find that the house is a complete mess. It gets even worse when they see that there is a zombie in the house. The boys improvise and fight with whatever utensils they can find. After a struggle, they defeat the zombie and leave the house.

As the boys walk the streets, they are puzzled to notice that nobody is around in broad daylight. They go to the bowling alley again to get some food. No one is in the bowling alley even though it is daytime, which makes Kelly feel uneasy. Suddenly, they get attacked by a boy and a girl. They stop the attack when they realize that Kelly and Gooch are not zombies (the boy and girl hadn't seen anyone but zombies in a long time). The boy and girl said that the bowling alley had been the only place where they were safe from the zombies. Then, the zombies appeared in the bowling alley.

A safe appears and a loud male voice says "Choose your weapon." This is when the kids realize that they are in the game (apparently the zombie in the kitchen wasn't enough of a clue for them). The players all chose their weapons. They all fight a zombie. The girl dies and a voce says "player two: game over."

The three boys leave the bowling alley and walk around until they find a store with TVs. Major Mayhem appears on the TV and taunts them. The third boy asks to leave, but Major Mayhem says that he cannot leave until he beats the game. Major Mayhem asks Gooch why he is there, and he says that Kelly let him play. Major Mayhem reminds Kelly that he told him not to share the game with anyone. He then says that even though Gooch is not supposed to be there, he must follow the same rules as the other kids (he is trapped in the game until he beats it).

Major Mayhem tells the boys that level two is about to begin. Then, a zombie suddenly appears. It grabs the third boy while Kelly and Gooch run away. With no one helping the third boy, the zombie throws him down a man-hole into a sewer and then he puts the cover back on the hole. Kelly and Gooch come back to try to save him, but they cannot lift the manhole cover. The other boy dies and an announcement says "player three: game over."

When it's just Gooch and Kelly, Gooch calls out Kelly for abandoning his friends when they need him and for sharing the game with him when he was told not to. Gooch tells Kelly that he's great at video games but is a "bad friend." When they go to the next level, Gooch sacrifices himself to the zombies. Gooch does this because he knows that he will never be able to beat Major Mayhem, but Kelly might.

Kelly gets to the final level, where he fights Major Mayhem. Major Mayhem draws two swords and tells Kelly to pick any weapon in the world. Kelly chooses his friends: Gooch and the other two kids who were in the game. Major Mayhem tells Kelly that he cannot be the best if they help him win, but Kelly says that he doesn't care about being the best and he just wants to beat Major Mayhem. They all beat Major Mayhem quickly.

Major Mayhem is happy to lose and says that he has waited a long time for someone to beat him. Kelly then finds out what it means to be the game master, and he is not happy. It means that Kelly is now trapped in the game until someone beats him (all of Kelly's friends and Major Mayhem are now free to leave the game and return to the real world).

At the end of the episode, we see a boy playing a game. The boy gets a message from Kell-Raiser that is identical to the one that Kelly got from Major Mayhem. The boy is pulled into the game and the episode ends.
7. Alien Candy

Answer: Bonnie and Greg

The episode begins with the protagonist, Walt, reading a book about aliens in the cafeteria while having lunch with his best friend Tim. We see that Walt's hair is brown, but it's revealed that his hair is naturally red and he had dyed it brown for Halloween. The boys finish their lunch and decide to go to the library to find more books about aliens.

Just as Walt is about to leave the cafeteria, a bully bumps into him and steals his book. The bully reads the title of the book "The Quest For Alien Contact." Unbeknownst to Walt, this draws the attention of two older students named Bonnie and Greg (we don't learn their names until later in the episode). Walt tries to take his book back and this causes a fight. During the fight, both boys knock over the lunch lady's lunch cart and knock all the food and dishes on the floor. All the kids in the cafeteria laugh, but the angry lunch lady orders Walt and the bully to come into the kitchen. She tells them that they both have to take out all her trash after school all week.

During the fight, the book falls onto the floor. Bonnie and Greg find it. Greg says that Walt is small, but Bonnie says that his brain is what matters. Walt takes out the cafeteria's trash after school as he was ordered. As Walt returns to the cafeteria, he meets Bonnie and Greg. They return his book to him and ask him questions about aliens. He answers them correctly and impresses them. They tell him that they started a secret club for kids who are interested in aliens. They show him the club's meeting room, which is in a part of the school that few people know about.

They give him some alien candy, which looks like jelly beans. They tell him that when people eat it, they gain the power to communicate with aliens telepathically. They tell him that he must eat it and must not tell anyone. He agrees to this.

At home, Walt eats the candy and ignores Tim's phone calls. Tim shows up to ask why Walt isn't answering his phone. Tim also sees that Walt has some candy that he won't share. Walt immediately breaks the promise that he made to Bonnie and Greg, and he tells Tim about the club.

At school, Bonnie and Greg are not happy to learn that Walt told Tim about the club. Walt tries to convince them that Tim believes in aliens and would be a good candidate. They refuse to let Tim join and threaten to kick Walt out of the club if he doesn't tell Tim that he's not invited.

At lunch, Tim is not pleased to hear Walt tell him that he's not allowed in the club. Tim is also not pleased to learn that Walt still plans on joining the club. Tim walks away from the lunch table and ends his friendship with Walt. After Tim walks away, Walt eats more of the candy and gets sick.

That night, Bonnie and Greg appear in Walt's bedroom. It turns out that Bonnie and Greg are real aliens who intend to eat Walt, and the purpose of the candy was to make it easier for them to digest him. Bonnie holds a blue orb over Walt's face which paralyzes him while Greg takes off Walt's sock and puts a needle in his foot for a blood sample. After looking at the sample, Greg concludes that Walt has eaten enough of the candy and that he is suitable for digestion. Bonnie and Greg turn into their true forms: aliens with green permeable skin. Bonnie eats Walt's right little toe, but then Greg sees a photo of Walt in his natural red hair (Walt dyed his hair brown after that photo was taken). Greg then says that they cannot eat Walt because they are allergic to people with red hair.

The next morning, Walt wakes up and concludes that it was all a dream. At school, Walt takes off his right sock and sees that his little toe is missing. Realizing that it was not a dream, he screams. He runs off, but then he is captured by the bullies and locked in a dumpster.

It is revealed that Bonnie and Greg chose Tim as their next meal. Tim is seen eating the candy. Bonnie and Greg tell him not to tell Walt that they chose him. He agrees.

Walt breaks out of the dumpster at night and calls Tim. During the phone call, Walt realizes that Bonnie and Greg are about to eat Tim in the school. Walt hangs up ands runs to find them. With an axe, he breaks a pipe which sprays water at Bonnie and Greg, who are now in alien form. This distracts them long enough so he can rescue Tim, who is now unconscious because Bonnie had held a blue orb over his face.

After they get out of the room, Tim regains consciousness. He says he had a nightmare and Walt tells him it wasn't a dream. Bonnie and Greg chase them into the cafeteria. In the cafeteria, Walt and Tim fight Bonnie and Greg, with the latter two in alien form. Walt and Tim win the fight by throwing salt at the aliens. The salt absorbs their permeable skin and kills them, reducing them to several tiny green globs.

The lunch lady walks into to find the cafeteria is a mess and several dishes are broken. She cleans up the mess and starts making lunch. She puts the green globs into the food.

The next day at lunch, Walt and Tim overhear other kids saying that the food tastes different from what they are used to. They open up their nuggets to see the green globs and they scream.
8. Fear Never Knocks

Answer: Christopher Heyerdahl's character

The name of the main villain is in the title of the episode, so I'm obviously not going to mention the villain by name in the answer. Now that you've finished the quiz, I will mention him by name.

Christopher Heyerdahl won a Leo award for his performance as Fear. He's not the only successful actor in this episode. The protagonists, Jenny and Jack, are played by Ariel Winter (famous for playing Alex in "Modern Family") and Quinn Lord (he was nominated four four Best Young Artist Awards and two Leo Awards when he was a child). Winter and Lord did so well in this episode that they both returned in a later "Haunting Hour" episode. Winter returns in "Headshot" and Lord returns in "Poof de Fromage."

Jenny and Jack live with their grandfather during the course of this episode. Their grandfather is a therapist. Jenny eavesdrops on his therapy sessions because she wants to be a therapist when she grows up. As he is feeding the kids their dinner, she asks him what he is afraid of and how he cures people of their fears. He says that he is afraid of nothing and that people need to face their fears. She tells him that's not what he does and reveals that she has been eavesdropping. He tells her that she is too young to understand what he does. He feeds them and goes out for his retirement dinner. As he is driving away, we see a sinister-looking man in the street.

While the kids are home alone, they go into their grandfather's office. They find an unusual-looking tape recorder. They struggle to learn how to use it, but then they play back his last patient's therapy session. She said that she was afraid of spiders and he said that he'd leave the fear here and it will be gone when she gets home. When they turn it off, a spider suddenly appears on top of Jack. The kids are puzzled by this, but they brush it off as a coincidence.

They take turns pretending to be a therapist and a patient, recording the sessions with the tape recorder. Jack says he's afraid of a killer dog and Jenny is afraid of a nightmare she had about a crazy lady in her closet. Then, they play the tape back. Jack decides that he doesn't want to hear it anymore so they leave the office. As they wash the dishes, Jack says that he wishes that fear didn't exist. Jenny explains that fear is a good thing because it prevents people from doing things that will kill them. Just as Jack is about to admit that Jenny is right, something odd happens.

A dog appears in the house. It growls at the kids and chases them upstairs. They go into Jenny's room and lock the door, keeping the dog outside and keeping them safe temporarily. Jenny puts the pieces together of what she has learned, and then she realizes that the tape recorder brings their fears to life. When people confess their fears into the tape recorder, the tape recorder swallows up their fears and keeps them locked inside it. When people play the tape recorder, the noun that they were afraid of will suddenly appear. Then she realizes that hiding in her room isn't the best idea.

No matter how much Jack pleads with her not to, Jenny opens her closet. The crazy lady appears and the kids run downstairs. They cannot open the door or use the phone because, in Jenny's nightmare, nothing worked. Jenny then remembers that her grandfather said that people need to face their fears. She takes deep breaths to calm herself down and tells Jack to do the same, which he does. The dog and the crazy lady disappear, but then someone else appears.

The sinister-looking man appears in the house and talks to them. He reveals that he is Fear and made a deal with their grandfather. When the grandfather received his medical license 35 years ago, Fear offered him the box of fears (the tape recorder) and told him that it would make him a successful man without any skill or effort. The grandfather appears in the house and tells the kids that everything that Fear said is true. Now that the grandfather is retired, Fear wants his box back so he can unleash all of the fears that the grandfather collected onto the world.

Jenny gets the box. When Fear demands that she give it to him, she comes up with a sneaky idea. She tells Fear that she's afraid. This makes him happy and he asks what she is afraid of. She turns on the tape recorder and says that she is afraid of Fear. Fear goes into the box. The kids and their grandfather are now happy and at peace, knowing that Fear is gone forever.
9. Best Friend Forever

Answer: Cheeky

The protagonist, Jack, desperately wants a puppy, but his mom refuses to get one for him because all of his previous pets died after just a few days under his care.

In science class, the teacher gives the kids a wire and two rods. He tells them to attach the wire to the rods and to a 6-volt battery, then stick the wires in healthy soil, and "You will be shocked by what happens." Jack did this experiment in a cemetery, hoping that the electricity would raise worms from the dead. His plan was to keep these worms as pets and keep them alive for a week, which he thinks would prove to his mom that he is responsible enough to take care of a puppy.

The experiment raises a zombie from the cemetery. The zombie follows Jack home. When Jack discovers the zombie, he screams and runs. While running, he trips and his glasses fall off. He continues running without them. The zombie catches him and pins him to the ground. The zombie lets him go and returns his glasses. Jack concludes that this is a good zombie.

Jack names the zombie "Cheeky" and decides to keep him as a pet, realizing that he can't die like all of the previous pets did because he is already dead. Jack tells Cheeky to stay in the garage because he wants to keep this a secret from his mom. He gives Cheeky a metal tag with his new name written on it. Jack plans to give Cheeky a bath because Cheeky smells bad, but then Jack realizes that Cheeky is hungry so he goes into the house to get some food. Cheeky follows into the house and eats most of the food that Jack brought him. They hear footsteps and drop the rest of the food on the floor and run out of the house in a hurry.

Jack's mom sees the mess on the floor and calls him. She is unaware that there is a zombie in the house. She blames the mess on the floor on Jack. When she hears growling, she thinks that Jack is doing it. She thinks that the horrible smell in the kitchen is caused by all the expired food inside of the refrigerator. Cheeky comes into the kitchen and Jack sends him away by opening the freezer door and slamming it in his face. His mom is mad that she opened the freezer door, and then Jack says that he'll clean up the mess by himself and she needs to go to bed and rest from her hard day at work. Jack cleans up the mess and then chains Cheeky in the garage.

The next morning, Jack wakes up to find that Cheeky is in his bed. He sees that Cheeky broke the chain and escaped the garage. Cheeky gives Jack a nametag with illegible writing on it. Jack asks if it's supposed to say "Jack." Cheeky says "Jack," which is the first time we hear Cheeky say anything comprehensible. When Jack's mom comes, Cheeky hides under the covers. She asks what the smell is, but then decides she doesn't want to know. Jack then leaves for school and Cheeky stays home (at first).

Jack had been verbally abused by a kid named Mitch earlier in the episode. To get revenge against Mitch, Jack tells him that he raised a zombie. Mitch doesn't believe him, so Jack invites him to his house to prove it. The teacher tells them to be quiet and then starts the lecture.

Cheeky appears at the school, just outside the window of the class. Jack is the only one who notices him. A few seconds later, Cheeky is not there. He then appears in the hall and growls at a girl right after she leaves the bathroom. She screams and then returns to hide in the bathroom. The class runs to help her, but the teacher orders the class to get back in their seats and tells them that she probably just saw a spider. The girl had previously upset the teacher by complaining to the principal and getting worm dissection banned from the school because she thinks that killing worms is as inhumane as killing a dog.

Jack sneaks out of the class to find Cheeky banging on the girls' bathroom door. Jack gets Cheeky away from there. The girl screams "Help! Kill that thing!" Jack says "I can't kill him. He's already dead." She says "That's not possible." Jack says "You're right, none of this is possible. Which means no one will believe you if you try to tell them." This could be seen as the beginning of Jack turning into a bad person.

Jack has Cheeky on a leash and he takes him out of the school to the place where he told Mitch to meet them. Cheeky runs off. Jack runs after Cheeky, but then he runs right into Mitch (literally). Mitch asks where the zombie is. Jack says that he doesn't know and that the zombie was there a second ago. Mitch thinks that Jack is lying and Mitch throws some more insults at him, unaware that Cheeky is right behind him.

Mitch turns around to walk home, but then sees Cheeky and screams. Cheeky pins him to the ground. Jack tells Mitch that if Mitch has the best brain around, Cheeky will want to eat it. Jack says that Mitch must admit that Jack is smarter than him, or Jack and Cheeky will eat his brain. Jack also tells Mitch that he is not allowed to tell anyone about Cheeky before the science fair. Mitch agrees to all of this, so Jack tells Cheeky to let him go. Cheeky lets Mitch go and Mitch runs off. Jack enjoys the moment for a few seconds, but then Cheeky sneaks up behind him and knocks him out with a large stick.

The final scene takes place underground, in the home where Cheeky lived before Jack raised him. We learn that ever since he was raised from the grave, Cheeky was trying to kidnap Jack and keep him as a pet. Cheeky was just waiting until no one else was watching to make his move. Cheeky asks his mom if he can have a pet. His mom says "no" because the pets always die. Cheeky keeps pleading until his mom sighs and walks off. Jack wakes up to find out that he is chained up underground. Cheeky serves him feces and says "eat." Jack says "let me go," but then Cheeky says "pet." Jack screams and the episode ends.
10. My Sister The Witch

Answer: Scoutmaster Billy

When Alice comes home from boarding school, she brings back some things that seem unusual to her brother Pete and his friend Reggie. She now has a black cat which she named Baba Yaga and an odd-looking book called "Grimoire." The last straw is when she goes out at night for an undisclosed activity. Pete follows her and they end up in the middle of the woods. Pete spies on her as she recites a weird poem. Baba Yaga sees him and meows, alerting Alice to Pete's presence. Pete runs home and tells his parents, but they don't believe him.

At a Boy Scout meeting, Reggie tries to convince Pete that his sister is a witch. Reggie explains that the Grimoire is a book about witchcraft, the cat is a familiar that witches use as spies, and Baba Yaga is one of the most famous witches in Russian folklore. Despite all of this, Pete refuses to believe that his sister is a witch. Scoutmaster Billy explains to the boys that witchcraft does not exist and any scientific phenomena that isn't commonly known to mankind will be considered witchcraft by most people. The boys' toy volcano suddenly erupts without explanation.

To find more evidence, Pete searches Alice's room while she leaves the house on the bike and Reggie hides behind a bush to watch Alice. The boys communicate via walkie-talkie. Pete finds Alice's witch box which has some odd items in it, such as devil's milk. Baba Yaga sees Pete and meows. Alice comes home, but Reggie doesn't notice it in time to give Pete time to leave the room. Pete hides in Alice's closet. Baba Yaga meows and Alice understands that her cat is telling her that Pete is in her closet. The room gets quiet and Pete thinks that Alice has left, so he leaves the closet. Alice sneaks behind him and cuts his hair. The father walks in with Reggie and scolds Pete for invading Alice's room and having Reggie hide in the bushes. Pete tries to tell his father that he was proving that Alice is a witch, but the father doesn't believe him and sends Pete to his room. Right before Pete leaves the room, he takes Reggie's surveillance badge (even though Pete does not have the right to do that because he is not the scoutmaster).

At the Boy Scout meeting, Pete reminds Reggie that Alice cut his hair. Reggie warns Pete that this might give Alice control over him and he should not accept anything that she gives him. As they walk out, Pete feels something uncomfortable on his foot so he takes off his shoe. He discovers that a talisman with his hair on it was hidden in his shoe. Reggie says that Alice put a hex on Pete. Pete decides to burn The Grimoire.

At home, the parents eat a meal that Alice cooked for the family. They tell Pete that she learned to cook at boarding school. Pete does not eat anything because Reggie had told him not to eat anything that Alice cooks. While Pete angrily tells them that they are unknowingly eating her "witches brew," they completely freeze. Alice happily declares that the recipe worked. Pete runs away from her and refuses to let her talk to him.

Pete runs into Alice's room, locks the door, and steals The Grimoire. Alice casts a spell that unlocks the door before Pete can sneak out the window, so he hides. While Alice looks out the window, Pete sneaks out the door behind her. Pete runs out of the house. Alice tries to unfreeze her parents but she cannot remember the spell.

Pete goes to the place in the woods where he previously saw Alice and he burns The Grimoire. Alice arrives there and sees what he has done. Pete tells her that he did this to prevent her from cursing him. Alice gets upset and reveals that she is actually a good witch. With this reveal, it turns out the the title of the episode does not give away the big twist of the episode. It was never meant to be a secret to the audience that Alice is a witch. The twist is that she is not a wicked witch, but a good witch.

Another witch had put a Saired curse on the family. Alice explains that Saired curse starts with bad luck, then it steals money, then it causes bad health, then it makes the victims go insane, and finally it kills the victims. Alice was trying to protect her family from the curse and reverse it. Pete asks who put this curse on the family but Alice does not know. Alice thinks it is Reggie because he comes to their house all the time and he is jealous of Pete's badges. Pete believes her when he realizes that Reggie was the one who kept insisting that she is a witch. Pete and Alice discover snakes in the cupboards in the kitchen.

Pete and Alice take their frozen parents outside and leave a note saying that there are snakes in the house and they need to call an exterminator. Then, the kids go to the science lab where the Boy Scout meetings are held to get some sodium nitrate to reverse the curse. Pete brings Reggie with them.

Reggie stands in the science lab by the door and Pete pours sodium nitrate around him while Alice casts a spell. Reggie alerts Pete to what Alice is doing, but Pete responds "Don't worry, Reggie, we're not going to hurt you." Reggie hears the words "we" and realizes that Pete is helping her. Pete tells Reggie that they know he is the evil magician who cursed the family, but when Alice's spell fails, Pete and Alice realize they were wrong. Reggie gets angry and he shouts that he is going to tell Scoutmaster Billy about this and Pete will get booted from the scouts. Alice hears Reggie mention Billy and reveals what she knows about him. Alice says that Scoutmaster Billy asked her out "a thousand times" and that she had to read one of his love notes to the whole class to get him to stop. Scoutmaster Billy appears.

When the other three kids see Scoutmaster Billy, he is levitating. He reveals that he always praises science because witches and warlocks thrive more and more when fewer and fewer people believe that they exist. He also reveals that he is the one who put the Saired curse on the family and he did this to get revenge on Alice for the thing that she just told Pete and Reggie about (see previous paragraph). He tells them that there are mirrors all around the room so Alice's magic is powerless against him. Alice comes up with a plan.

Pete had taken Reggie's surveillance badge earlier in the episode, so he gives it to Alice and now she has the power to control Reggie. She makes Reggie break the mirrors in the room. After this, Billy and Alice attempt to cast spells at each other. Alice completes her spell first and turns Scoutmaster Billy into a toad.
11. Wrong Number

Answer: Ms. Biazevich, Adriana, and Constantine

The episode begins by showing us the two main characters: two high school girls who are pretty on the outside but ugly on the inside. We see the girl on the left pushing over a boy for no reason. As a voiceover narrator, Steffani Howard introduces herself as the girl on the left. She says that she is the prettiest girl in the school, and that gives her the right to bully people for no reason. She introduces the girl on the right as her best friend Taylor. Steffani says that Taylor just copies whatever she says and does (and we see Taylor do just that) and that Taylor is slightly less attractive than her (some fans disagree with this and say that Taylor is the more attractive girl).

Steffani bumps into a goth girl named Adriana, which causes Adriana's brand new phone to fall onto the floor and break. Steffani tells Adriana to watch where she is going and Taylor makes a rude comment about Adriana's appearance, to which Adriana correctly replies "You walked into me." Steffani continues to make mean comments towards Adriana and concludes by saying "Respect my space and get out of my face." As Steffani walks away, Taylor looks at Adriana in a way that shows remorse, but she does not apologize to Adriana and she walks away with Steffani.

At Steffani's apartment, she and Taylor dance to a pop song that was written by Debbie Ryan (the actress who plays Steffani). Steffani turns the volume all the way up. The neighbor, Ms. Biazevich, bangs on the door and tells them to turn it down. Steffani tells her that the girls cannot hear the music over her loud banging. Ms. Biazevich then rings the doorbell dozens of times (I lost count pretty quickly). When Steffani finally opens the door and complains about the doorbell-ringing, Ms. Biazevich says that she will stop ringing the doorbell as soon as they stop playing the music loudly. Steffani refuses to do that and makes rude comments to Ms. Biazevich. Ms. Biazevich warns them to be nice. They don't take her threats seriously, so Ms. Biazevich pulls Steffani's hair and takes her barrette. Ms. Biazevich also sends an electrical current through the doorknob while Steffani is holding it, which causes a noticeable injury to Steffani's hand (it's red and swollen). This lets the audience know that Ms. Biazevich is a witch, but the girls think that she is just a crazy woman so they decide to get revenge.

The girls send multiple prank calls to Ms. Biazevich. For one of them, Steffani steals a joke from "The Simpsons" (by introducing herself as Amanda Huggenkiss). Ms. Biazevich gets fooled at first because apparently she's never seen "The Simpsons," but eventually she figures out what's going on and warns them to stop. They ask what she'll do if they don't stop and she says "No mercy for mean girls."

The next day, Steffani sees some men in uniform going into Ms. Biazevich's apartment. She calls Taylor and asks her to come over. Taylor tells Steffani that the men are from the morgue, which means that Ms. Biazevich died. Taylor is clearly sad about this. Steffani is unbothered by her neighbor's death and she walks over to one of the men and gives him her phone number. Taylor is horrified to see her best friend flirting over Ms. Biazevich's deceased body.

At school the next day, Steffani makes a rude comment about Adriana's appearance, uses her phone to take her picture without her permission, and posts it on Twitter. Steffani then gets a few text messages from a blocked number, which say "is bad to be mean girl" "i warned u" and "i told you to be nice girls." To the audience, it is obvious that the texts came from Ms. Biazevich. The first text omitted the words "it" and "a" (the proper way to type it would be "it is bad to be a mean girl") and the word "I" is never capitalized. Ms. Biazevich is the only person we have seen who speaks like that. Also, Ms. Biazevich is the only one who did what the text messages said she did (warn the girls to be nice). Even though Ms. Biazevich was dead, the audience had already seen evidence of her supernatural abilities (when she sent a ton of electricity through the doorknob) so it was no shock to us that she could send text messages from beyond the grave. The girls are not smart and they do not figure out any of this.

In Steffani's apartment, she gets a text saying "less fix hair, more fix u." Steffani thinks that the text messages are coming from the man at the morgue (the one whom she gave his number to) and that he is flirting with her (Steffani is really not a smart girl). Both girls get a phone call, and when they answer, all they hear is gibberish. Taylor shows that she at least has SOME intelligence and tells Steffani that the messages are not coming from him. Steffani calls the number, and they hear Ms. Biazevich's phone ringing.

The girls decide to investigate Ms. Biazevich's apartment using a spare key to her apartment that Steffani's father has (when he was asked to take care of Ms. Biazevich's pet cat). They find that the lights are off but there are lit candles everywhere. While in there, they call back the number again. Ms. Biazevich's phone rings even though it is unplugged. On the dresser, they find a lot of unusual items in jars, including Steffani's barrette. Steffani tries to take it back, but then she hears Ms. Biazevich coughing and she drops it while the girls run out of the apartment.

In school the next day, the girls get more odd text messages. While Steffani is writing a text message back to ask the person to leave the girls alone, a spider appears on the phone.

In the library, Steffani throws both phones in the trash. Then she asks Adriana for help. Asking for help from a person that you have repeatedly bullied doesn't seem like a smart move to me, but that's what Steffani does. Adriana says "Yes, you are a terrible person" (my all-time favorite quote from "The Haunting Hour"). Adriana is obviously reluctant to help her bullies. Steffani says "I'm sorry" but it's clearly an insincere apology and it's clear that she only said that to get Adriana's help. The girls tell Adriana that they think that Steffani's neighbor is a witch and she is haunting the girls, and they think Adriana might be able to help them because of the way she dresses. Taylor says it in a nice way, but Steffani makes multiple rude comments to Adriana even after her "apology." Steffani tells Adriana that if she helps them, the only reward that she will get is that they will never again make rude comments to her face. Adriana says that her uncle Constantine can help her so she gives them his address and tells them that she will call him to tell him to expect them.

Steffani and Taylor go to Constantine. Apparently, they are not smart enough to realize that Adriana might be leading them into a trap. They tell him that they are friends of Adriana. He tells them that she called him and told him about them. Apparently, the girls are not smart enough to realize that Adriana probably didn't tell him that they were her friends. He gives them a jar of leaves and tells them to put them around the bed at night for protection. The fact that he gave this to them for free is apparently not a red flag in the girls' minds.

Steffani puts the leaves on her bed and Taylor decides to sleep on her bed with her, thinking that it is the only safe place to sleep. The leaves summon Ms. Biazevich, who is now a ghost. She comes after the girls to attack them. They hide in the bathroom, but she sends spiders under the bathroom door. They decide to use the shower curtain to capture her. They are not smart enough to realize that will not work on a ghost. They try to leave the apartment, but Ms. Biazevich magically locked the door and they cannot unlock it. Taylor swears that she will be a nice girl and convinces Steffani to do the same. Ms. Biazevich moves her finger and the door unlocks. Steffani opens it but then she insults Ms. Biazevich again.

Ms. Biazevich magically closes and locks the door again. She spares Taylor's life because Taylor is a good girl and she has decided to stop copying Steffani's every move. She takes Steffani's phone and takes a video of her, which traps Steffani in her own phone. Steffani is now a video inside of her phone. Ms. Biazevich says to Taylor "Respect my space, get out of face" and opens the door. This is exactly what Steffani said to Adriana at the beginning of the episode except the second "my" is omitted. Taylor realizes that if she tries to help Steffani, Ms. Biazevich will kill her too. Taylor runs out of the apartment. Ms. Biazevich sends the video to Adriana. At this point in the episode, it is revealed that Ms. Biazevich is Adriana's grandmother and Constantine's mother, and the three of them had been conspiring against the girls ever since they asked Adriana for help in the school library. Adriana deletes the video, which deletes Steffani from existence.
12. Catching Cold

Answer: Ice Cream Truck

The protagonist, a chubby boy named Marty, hears "Pop Goes the Weasel" in a minor key and sees that it is coming from an ice cream truck with the name "Kreamy Kold" written on it. Marty asks his mom and his sister to loan him some money for the ice cream truck, but they refuse because he never does his chores and because he's previously borrowed money and never paid them back. The father comes home and leaves his wallet on the table and walks away. Marty steals money from the unattended wallet and chases the ice cream truck, but it does not stop and he cannot catch it.

The next day, Marty talks to his friend Ari about the Kreamy Kold ice cream truck, but Ari did not see it or hear it. A mailman overhears the conversation and he hears Marty say the name "Kreamy Kold," so he tells the boys what he knows about Kreamy Kold. When he was a child, he knew a boy named Jimmy Jeffries who was obsessed with Kreamy Kold. Jimmy Jeffries told him that he could never catch the truck, but one time it left him some ice cream. The mailman concludes the story by saying that one day, Jimmy Jeffries disappeared and no one ever found out what happened to him.

That night, Marty hears the truck again. He finds an ice cream cone with ice cream on it on his doorstep. He eats the ice cream and he loves it. The truck drives away and ignores Marty's screams of "More! I want more!" From this point on, Marty is completely obsessed with Kreamy Kold.

Whenever Marty and Ari meet up, all Marty wants to do is talk about the ice cream truck. At 3:00 at night, Marty hears various versions of "Pop Goes the Wesel" in a dripping sink and in the alarm clock. Then he hears the ice cream truck's actual jingle and sees it so he walks outside, but his father catches him and tells him to go back inside. It's revealed that the ice cream truck has selective invisibility and audibility when the father could not see or hear the truck when it was right in front of him. Marty writes "Kreamy Kold" all over his homework.

Marty's father and Ari become increasingly worried about him. Ari buys a lot of ice cream for Marty, but Marty spits it out and calls it "junk." Marty buys a bicycle for him, hoping that Marty will use it to exercise and lose weight. Marty notices some spikes in the trunk of his father's police car (the father is a cop) and asks him about them, and the father says that they are used to pop the tires on criminals' cars so they cannot get away. Marty sells the bike to Ari for $20; Ari is reluctant to buy it but Marty really wants the money so Ari buys it and tells him that he can buy the bike back whenever he wants.

One evening, Marty eats his dinner quickly and tells his family that he's going to go outside and ride his bike. His parents are proud of him. His sister is suspicious, but she doesn't stop him. The father left his car keys unattended in a bowl near the door, so Marty steals them (no one notices because they're all in the dining room still eating) and opens the trunk and steals his father's spikes. He spends that night chasing the ice cream truck. Finally, he puts the spikes on the road. The ice cream truck drives over them, all of its tires pop, and it finally stops.

Marty goes to the window of the truck, but no one is there. Marty enters the truck through the window, sees an ice cream cone with ice cream, and eats some. Then, he meets Jimmy Jeffries (the boy that the mailman told Marty about), who is now a chubby, frozen, and nearly-insane man. Jimmy Jeffries explains everything about the truck. He explains that the truck does not have a driver, it does not need money, and it can only be seen or heard by people who love ice cream so much that they'd do anything to catch the truck. He explains that the truck runs on the soul of the person inside the truck. Jimmy Jeffries explained that he was obsessed with Kreamy Kold, and when he finally caught the truck, he was trapped inside the truck for 30 years. The truck had possession of Jimmy's soul and that's what operated the truck. Jimmy then explains that now that Marty has caught the truck, it has possession of Marty's soul. Jimmy Jeffries exits the truck and tells Marty that he will be trapped inside the truck until someone else catches it. After Jimmy Jeffries leaves, the doors automatically close and lock, the tires re-inflate themselves, and the truck drives off with Marty trapped inside. Marty screams for help but Jimmy says "It's all you can eat" while laughing maniacally.
13. Pool Shark

Answer: Cameron

The protagonist, a teenager named Kai, works at an indoor pool that his father owns. He is afraid to go in the water because he is traumatized by a time that he saw a shark in the ocean when he was a young boy. A girl named Alexa walks in and he immediately introduces himself to her. She tells him that she is waiting for Cameron, an Olympic swimmer who is now a swimming instructor. She hopes that he can help her make the Olympics, too. Cameron appears. He bullies Kai for not getting into the water and he bullies Alexa for not being a perfect swimmer.

Kai tries to face his fear of the water at night, when everyone else has gone home. He gets into the pool, but then he sees a shark in the pool and gets out.

At home, Kai tells his cousin that he saw a shark in the pool. His cousin tells him that what he saw was a Nanaue, a creature that is a man on the land but a shark when he's in the water. The cousin tells him the backstory of the Nanaue. The story is that the shark god saw a beautiful woman who was also a great swimmer. The shark god fell in love with her, but had to turn himself into a man to get her attention. The shark god and the maiden got married and their child was a Nanaue. The father walks in and tells the cousin to stop telling the story to Kai.

The next day when Kai gets to work, the first thing that he sees is a shark in the pool. He tells other people about this, but no one else can see the shark.

That night in the cafeteria by the pool, Alexa and Cameron have dinner together. Cameron brags about his swimming ability. He offers to give Alexa a ride home, but she declines. As Cameron walks out, he bullies Kai some more. After Cameron walks out, Alexa smiles at Kai and invites him to sit with her. She tells him that she is his friend, but does not believe there is a shark in the pool and asks him why he is afraid of the water. Kai tells him that when he was seven, he was swimming in the ocean and a shark got very close to him. His father saved him just in time, but he's been afraid of the water ever since. He tells her that he feels like he is a Nanaue, but she doesn't believe him.

At home, Kai gets some tools from the kitchen to make a makeshift harpoon. His father walks in and asks what he is doing, but he does not tell him. The father walks away. Kai returns to the pool and sees the shark, and gets in the water armed with his harpoon. The shark comes after him, but then Kai disappears. The harpoon floats by itself in the pool, and now there are two sharks in the pool. The sharks get out of the water, and then it's revealed that Nanaue are Kai and his father. All the previous times that Kai saw a shark in the pool, it was really his father, and whenever Kai saw a shadow of a shark, it was really Kai's shadow. His father tells him a little more about Nanaue. His father tells him that his cousin knows the story about Nanaue but he cannot turn into a shark. The father also tells Kai not to tell his cousin that Kai and his father are Nanaue. His father also tells him that Kai needed to find the courage to fight his father while his father is a shark before Kai can become a shark. When Kai asks if his mom knew that his father was a Nanaue, the father replies "Only a special woman can love the Nanaue." The father says that when the mother died, she asked that her ashes be scattered in the sea. He says that when they return to the ocean, Kai will feel her spirit in the water.

The father walks away and then Alexa and Cameron show up at the pool for some more training. Cameron bullies Kai a little more, so Alexa quits training with Cameron to spend some more time with Kai. This causes Cameron to bully Alexa, so Kai challenges him to a race. Cameron thinks this has to be a joke, but he accepts the challenge when they agree to bet money on it. Kai gives Cameron a head start and then Kai dives into the water, turns into a shark, and swims right behind Cameron. Cameron hurries out of the water before the race is over and runs off. Alexa watches the whole thing and completely falls in love with him, revealing herself to be a "special woman" (remember when his father said "Only a special woman can love the Nanaue").
14. The Perfect Brother

Answer: The parents

Matt and Josh are brothers. Matt is better than Josh at everything (sports, school, eating, etc.). The parents are disappointed in Josh because he got straight Bs on his report card. Have you ever heard of parents who were disappointed in their child for getting all Bs? Then it gets even more ridiculous. Matt got all As except for one A-, and the parents are angry at him for getting an A-. Josh praises Matt for his grades and his hard work. The mother says that she lost her appetite over her sons' "disappointing" grades. She tells Josh to do the dishes and she madly says "Demonstrate you understand how to do what's asked of you for once" and walks away.

Matt starts struggling to walk and talk. In the school cafeteria, he falls down and hits his head on the hard floor. The mom takes both brothers home, and she refuses to take Matt to the hospital no matter how much Josh begs her to do so.

At home, Josh overhears his mother saying to his father "The experiment has failed." The father says that he is going to take Matt to the hospital, but both parents refuse to let Josh go with them. Josh calls the hospital, but the automated system denies him access and hangs up. He asks his mom where his father took Matt, but she does not tell him. He goes to Matt's computer to look up the address of the hospital while his friend Mike walks in. The computer shows him the location but not the name. Josh decides to go to the hospital and ignores Mike's warnings.

Josh climbs over the fence and wanders around the building for several minutes undetected (apparently this place has really bad security). He sees plenty of evidence that it's not a hospital. He walks by several rooms where he sees engineers building robots that look like humans. He hears screaming coming out of one room, though he can't see what's going on in that room. In another room, he overhears the workers talking about relinquishing parental rights. He walks into one room where he sees a lot of people who are strapped to a stretcher. One of those people is Matt.

It is revealed that Matt is a robot. His warranty has expired and he has too many defects to be accepted by his parents. The people in the building will destroy this Matt, build a new Matt, and send the new Matt to the parents. Josh is determined to get Matt out of there even after learning all of this. Matt tells Josh to leave him there and to get himself out of there. Josh tries to get Matt out of there, and he is finally caught by security. They take Matt away and the police take Josh home.

The new Matt has arrived and the parents want to have a conversation with Josh. Josh refuses to accept the new Matt and he wants the old Matt back. The parents reveal that they are robots, too. They adopted a human (Josh) to help with the chores, but all of Josh's emotions make him insufferable to the parents. Josh tries to run out of the house. Mike shows up and reveals that he is a robot too and he is no longer Josh's friend. The parents and Mike lock Josh in a box and ship that box to an unknown destination. At the end of the episode, the mom tells Josh that he was the experiment.

This episode is similar to the "Goosebumps" episode "Perfect School." In both cases, the people were "perfect" because they were robots. Both episodes also have a best friend who betrays the protagonist. The main difference is that "Perfect School" has a happy ending (the protagonist escapes the school and gets home) while "Perfect Brother" has an unhappy ending.
15. Scary Mary

Answer: Face-stealing ghost

Of course, I'm not going to mention the villain by name in the answer because it's the name of the episode. I will be mentioning her name in the interesting info, now that you have finished.

Once upon a time, there was a girl named Mary who was obsessed with her appearance. One day, her house caught on fire but she was too busy looking in the mirror to notice it. She died and became a ghost. Since then, she has been trying to steal the faces of other young girls. Girls summon her by holding a candle in front of a mirror in a dark room and reciting a poem, thinking that they're just playing a harmless game and nothing bad will happen. Eventually, the girls disappear and their family and friends never find out what happened to them.

The protagonist is Hannah, a kind, empathetic girl who does not like her own appearance. Her friends pressure her into playing the game. She does, and at first nothing happens. Soon after that, she begins to feel bad for Mary. Over time, she becomes more and more obsessed with trying to help Mary feel better. One day, two mirrors in Hannah's house are broken and there's a brush on the floor with the letter "M" on it.

Hannah goes to buy beauty products. Her boyfriend Eric sees her in the street and he knows that this is out of character for her, so he asks her what is going on. She tells him that she wants to make herself look beautiful for Mary because she thinks it makes Mary feel better to see other girls trying to make themselves beautiful. She shows Eric the hairbrush as evidence for why she thinks this. Eric goes to the gym to beat up his best male friend. The male friend had previously told Eric that he was going to break into Hannah's house and pull a prank on her, but Eric warned him not to do that. Eric thinks that his friend ignored the warning and broke into Hannah's house, broke two mirrors, and left a hairbrush with the letter "M" on it. The friend turns out to be innocent, so Eric lets him go.

Hannah takes all of the pictures off of her mirror. She talks to Mary through the mirror and uses the brush. Unknown to her, girls with masks are hiding in Hannah's mirror. They sneak up behind her and pull her through the mirror and Hannah screams. Hannah's mom hears the scream and goes into Hannah's room, but no one is there.

In "Scary Mary Part Two," Hannah is in the mirror world. The only people in the world are Mary, Hannah, and lots of girls in masks. Through the mirror, she can see her mom and Eric, but no one hears her calls. One of the masked girls tells Hannah what is going on and tries to comfort her. It's revealed that all the girls in masks started off as ordinary girls in the real world, then they all played the Scary Mary game and got pulled into Mary's world. Mary stole their faces and the girls in masks are Mary's servants. Their job is to find other girls in the real world who play the Scary Mary game and pull them into the mirror world, then convince them to let Mary steal their faces. Hannah refuses to play along with this willingly, so they force her over to Mary's house and forcefully steal her face.

In the real world, Hannah has been missing for several days and none of her friends know what happened to her. They all come up with various ideas on how to find her, but only Eric's idea is good. Eric and his friends go into the woods at night with some candles and a mirror. Eric plays the game and uses the brush. He calls Hannah, and now she can hear him. She answers the call and Eric goes into the mirror world.

Eric goes into the house and finds a girl who looks like Hannah. The girl tells Eric that he has to carry her through the lake of tears to get out of the mirror world and back into the real world. She tells Eric that the girls leave the world until a boy comes to save him and that he is the first boy ever who came to save anyone. Just as he's about to rescue her, the girl demands that Eric tell her that she is the most beautiful girl in the world. Eric knows that the real Hannah does not like her own appearance, so he holds the girl's face to the mirror. The mirror reveals the girl's true face. She is actually Mary.

After the mirror reveals the truth, Hannah's face is returned to Hannah and Mary's true face is revealed. Mary is a middle-aged woman and her face has red burn marks all over it (because she died in a fire). Another thing that happens is that the house catches on fire, which means that Eric must quickly find the real Hannah. All of the girls in masks say that they are Hannah except the real Hannah, who calls Eric by name (she is the only one of the girls who knows his name). Eric finds her in a mask and takes her out of the building before it burns down. Mary and all of the other girls presumably die in the fire. Then, he carries her through the lake of tears (her mask falls off in the water) and returns her to the real world. Her friends are overjoyed to see that he is okay. One of the friends takes a picture of Hannah and Eric together. For the first time ever, Hannah is happy to have her picture taken. At the end of the episode, Eric is at home and Mary calls for him through his mirror.
