Answer: Baby Bowser

In the past, at Princess Peach's Castle, Toadsworth greets Baby Mario and Baby Luigi and allows them to enter the castle. Upon reaching the throne room, however, Baby Bowser is there holding Baby Peach, threatening to capture her. After they get the Princess out of his hold, Baby Mario fights him while Baby Luigi keeps Baby Peach entertained.

Answer: Shroomshock

Mario has to go receive a Refreshroom from the southwestern room of the castle. After coming back, the doctor says that he worried himself into a state of Shroomshock. Once he gets the Refreshroom, he leaps up onto the air, restored back to a healthy state.

Answer: Stuffwell

After Stuffwell comes out of the time hole, he lands on Luigi's back and greets Mario, but then asks where Luigi is. After Luigi groans, Stuffwell leaps off his back and apologizes. Right afterwards, the time hole suddenly disappears and Luigi rushes over and tries to find it under the ground.

Answer: A Toad

A Toad from the village falls on his head and murmurs something about flying saucers and aliens abducting the townsfolk. After Mario and Luigi run away, a UFO abducts him. Later, a Shrooblet falls on Luigi's head, causing his HP to decrease to one, but the Toad falls on him first.

Answer: Koopa Cruiser

The Koopa Cruiser has a cannon built in the back that shoots spiked balls and also has an emergency alarm. Baby Bowser and his crew of Koopa pilots run the ship. After Shroobs attacked Princess Peach's Castle, Baby Bowser called for Kamek and his ship, which came immediately and rescued Baby Bowser, Toadsworth, Baby Mario, Baby Luigi, and Baby Peach.

Answer: Your/His Grumpiness

The Koopas on the ship call Baby Bowser different things. Right when you get control of Baby Mario and Baby Luigi on the Koopa Cruiser, there is a Koopa in the next room who says, "Hey, you there! His Grouchiness awaits you!" A Koopa pilot calls Baby Bowser "Your Badness" when the ship approaches Princess Peach's Castle, now called Shroob Castle.

The other Koopa Pilot calls Baby Bowser "Your Foulness" when telling him that they were receiving a transmission from Shroob Castle.

Answer: The cannon was out of ammo and couldn't shoot

As everyone on the ship tries to understand what Princess Shroob is saying, one of the Koopas warns everybody that a Shroob missile was about to hit them. Baby Bowser orders that they fire the cannon, but the Koopa stutters that they have run out of ammo. The missile then lands a direct hit on the Koopa Cruiser, and the ship descends into Bowser's Castle.

Answer: Boom Guy

Shrooblets, found in Hollijolli Village, will charge at one either Mario or Luigi. If they jump at the right moment, then the brother being attacked might land on the Shrooblet and hurt it. Goombas, found in Bowser's Castle, will charge at you, similar to the Shrooblets, and if they get jumped on, they will get hurt and stop their attack. Boos, also in Bowser's Castle, will disappear and charge at you from behind, and if they get jumped on, just like Shrooblets and Goombas, they will take damage and stop attacking. Boom Guys, found in Bowser's Castle just like Boos and Goombas, will stand next to you shoot a Bullet Bill, although it might try to trick you into jumping too soon by firing a blank first.

Answer: A floating treasure chest

After having Baby Mario and Baby Luigi make their way through a dark maze with light from the older brothers hitting a block, there is a treasure chest with a question mark that contains the first Cobalt Star shard. After returning to the present, Professor E. Gadd is bewildered on how it got there in the first place, as it is only one piece of six and the Cobalt Star was whole.

The Cobalt Star was used to provide energy for the time machine that Princess Peach used to go to past.

Answer: Nincompoop

When Mario, Luigi, Baby Mario, and Baby Luigi reach the time hole in Bowser's Castle, Stuffwell tells them to jump into the time hole. Toadsworth is already next to the time hole, and yells at Stuffwell, saying that it could be dangerous. Stuffwell then says, "Come on, it's time to go back to our own era. This blathering
nincompoop is just arresting our progress." Toadsworth shouts at them and says that they are the true nincompoops, but they take no notice as they jump into the time hole to return to the present.
