Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. One what episode did Judy offer Jeff a "roll in the hay?"

Answer: Bad Connection

Jeff is upset when he strikes out on his first day of baseball camp. His fiance, Ginger doesn't know a thing about baseball so he turns his attentions to Judy, the barkeep. However, she ends up hitting on him.
2. Who, out of the men who went overseas, married their hometown sweetheart?

Answer: Hank Metcalf

Mike Sloan, Jr. died before returning home. Charlie Hailey married a woman from overseas. Robert Davis fell in love, also, with a woman overseas.
3. What didn't go wrong for Hank when he came home?

Answer: He met Sarah

Hank ended up marrying Sarah.
4. What was Anne's first husband's name?

Answer: Steven Metcalf

You'd have to be paying attention to get this one. If you got it, good for you. If not, don't feel bad. This is the one toughy in the whole quiz. I don't think he was ever in the series. The series starts out with just Anne (the mother) and the children.
5. Why did Anne decide to marry a man who was not Catholic?

Answer: She was going to have a baby.

When pregnant in the 40's, you get married.
6. Who are the incorrectly linked couple?

Answer: Gina Sloan and Robert Davis

Gina was married to Mike Sloan, Jr. who died before coming home from the war. Robert Davis was the son of Abe and Gloria.
7. What caused Sarah to decide to marry Hank instead of Jeff?

Answer: Jeff told her that she should marry Hank because Hank really loved her.

Besides, Jeff went on to hitch up with Ginger, and they stole the show.
8. Who was Hank's hometown sweetheart who fell in love with his brother while he was overseas?

Answer: Sarah Brewer

Hank and Sarah eventually marry but she ends up getting shot and dying when the union fights start.
9. Which group doesn't match?

Answer: Sarah Brewer - Sloan plant employee

Sarah was not an employee of the plant. Her husband, Hank was. Otherwise, no connection. Abe and Gloria owned Ruperts, Al Kahn was the Union Leader and Judy Owen was a Bartender.
10. How many episodes of "Homefront" ran in the U.S. total?

Answer: 41

If you count the missing episode that was only aired in the Philippines, that would make it 42.
