Answer: Madrigal

The planet Madrigal is described as a Tier 4 Water Extraction planet located in the outer colonies. Before the planet is invaded one of its older inhabitants tells war stories and they listen to a tv show that discusses whether or not Madrigal is free or not and the ongoing interplanetary war.

Answer: Heavy hydrogen

Kwan Ha and her friends are non-conformists that go out exploring in spite of Kwan's father, Jin Ha, imploring them not to. While exploring they talk about how their planet of Madrigal has the highest concentration of heavy hydrogen on the planet and that it can power ships and drugs. Kwan desires to leave Madrigal while her friends seem all right with staying.

Answer: Phantom

The first season of "Halo" takes place in an ongoing war between humanity and the Covenant. The Covenant is comprised of different species and they desire to destroy humanity. Their main troop transport aircraft is the Phantom. The Phantom that landed on Madrigal carried soldiers of the Sangheili species that are known as 'Elites'. Shortly after landing the Elites shot and killed many of Kwan's friends before moving on to Madrigal's main settlement.

Answer: Plasma rifle

The plasma rifles used by the Covenant Elites are much more powerful than any of the firearms carried by the Madrigal soldiers and they are easily overpowered. Once their walls are breached, the women and children are instructed to hide in a vault by General Jin Ha.

In the "Halo" video games, the plasma rifle is a powerful weapon that can be picked up and used by players after defeating Elites.

Answer: Spartans

Earlier in the episode, Spartans are described as killing machines that are as powerful as 100 marines. Master Chief is the leader of the Spartans and his team vanquishes the Elites that have invaded Madrigal. Unfortunately, most of the people of Madrigal's main settlement had already been killed by the time the Spartans arrive. Master Chief is also the main playable character in the "Halo" series of video games of which the first game was released in 2001.

Answer: Energy sword

The energy sword is a much sought after weapon in the "Halo" video games, particularly in multiplayer, because it can kill opponents with just one hit. The Covenant Elite that killed Jin Ha mercilessly lifted him with the energy sword after stabbing him. Overcome with grief, Jin Ha's daughter Kwan runs toward the Elite soldier and is luckily saved by Master Chief.

Answer: Invisibility

After the bloodshed in the middle of Madrigal, the Spartans find the empty Covenant aircraft located on top of a cave. The Spartans explore the cave and find an artifact with special powers. An Elite soldier observes this and tries to escape but is spotted by the Spartans. To escape, the Elite activates invisibility and runs out of the cave and knocks over Kwan Ha.

The Elite is able to then fly away on another Covenant aircraft that was left on Madrigal.

Answer: Catherine Halsey

Dr. Catherine Halsey is the mastermind behind the SPARTAN soldier program that Master Chief was a member of. Dr. Halsey has a close relationship with Master Chief who she refers to as John. She analyzes John's vitals while he interacted with the artifact on Madrigal and realizes that it is a huge energy source.

Answer: Kill Kwan Ha.

When Master Chief leaves Madrigal, he reluctantly takes Kwan Ha with him as she is the only survivor of the massacre that took place behind the central walls. On board the Condor, Kwan Ha speaks with Miranda Keyes who implores her to broadcast for the UNSC (United Nations Space Command) to other planets to inform them that the Spartans are fighting the Covenant and they want support. Kwan Ha refuses this request and shortly thereafter Master Chief receives a directive to kill her. Master Chief then cuts off communication with those on Planet Reach and is able to save Kwan Ha after his ship is deprived of oxygen.

Answer: He touches the artifact.

As Master Chief lands on Planet Reach, the Condor is out of power. The Marines and other Spartans surround the Condor and are about to breach it when Master Chief touches the artifact. This realizes an energy pulse that knocks out the power outside of the Condor and knocks down the soldiers.

The artifact also resupplies power back to the Condor and Master Chief is able to fly away with Kwan Ha as the episode ends.
