So, you know the book was written by Ian Fleming, better known as the creator of James Bond. Maybe you remember the 1968 movie (loosely based on the book) written by Roald Dahl and Ken Hughes, with songs from the Sherman brothers, starring Dick van Dyke as Caractacus Potts. Then along came the stage musical, featuring additional songs from Robert and Richard Sherman, which premiered in the West End in 2002.
