Adele Laurie Blue Adkins was born in Tottenham, London, on 5 May 1988 and in her early childhood also lived in Brighton for a couple of years before she and her mother returned to London. She showed musical talent from a very early age and, encouraged by her mother, attended the BRIT School, from which she graduated in 2006. With her early links to Tottenham, Adele is a keen supporter of Tottenham Football Club and can sometimes be seen at their matches. She is active on social media and keeps fans updated on her music, having huge followings on Twitter and Instagram.
