"Can't Stop Lovin' You" was featured often on Van Halen's 1995 "Ambulance Tour" with Sammy Hagar fronting the band. It was the third and most successful single from the band's "Balance" album, peaking at Number thirty. David Lee Roth became the front man for Van Halen in the seventies after the band rented a sound system from him. The group catapulted to fame in the seventies with several hits with Roth singing lead. Roth left the band in 1985. Patty Smyth from the band Scandal was offered the position of lead vocalist but turned the offer down. Sammy Hagar was enjoying a successful solo career but accepted the offer to join Van Halen. The first album featuring Hagar was the successful "5150". Hagar left the band in 1996 and after a brief reunion with David Lee Roth Gary Cherone from Extreme became the band's vocalist. In 2006 Van Halen's bass player Michael Anthony and Sammy Hagar toured as "The Other Half" with Michael Anthony doing occasional vocals.
