Louis Dampier scored a total of 13,726 points with a scoring average of 15.9. Despite not being a big name, Dampier made the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2015. He was also a seven time ABA All-Star and won the championship in 1975. Dan Issel was an all-time great who was voted into the Hall of Fame in 2006. Issel finished with 12,823 points in the ABA with a scoring average of 25.6. Issel was a six time ABA All-Star, and won the championship in 1975. He played with the Kentucky Colonels from 1970-1975 and then the Denver Nuggets from 1975 to 1976 before the NBA merger. He also had a long run with the Denver Nuggets in the NBA. He also made the ABA All-Time team. Ron Boone was a four time all-ABA All-Star and scored a grand total of 12,153 with a scoring average of 18.4. He played for Dallas/Texas Chaparrals from 1968 to 1971, Utah Stars from 1971-1975 and Spirits of Saint Louis from 1975 to 1976. He also won the title in 1971. Mel Daniels was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame 2012. Daniels scored 11,739 points in the ABA with a scoring average of 18.7 and a rebound average of 14.9 a game. Mel played for the following teams: Minnesota Muskies (1967-1968), Indiana Pacers (1968-1974), Memphis Sounds (1974-1975) and New York Nets (1976). Mel won 3 titles in 1970, 1972 and 1973 and was also named to the all-time ABA All-Time Team.

Wilt left the University of Kansas after his junior year due to frustration over being guarded and fouled by as many as 3 players at one time without the foul calls being made. He briefly toured with the Globetrotters from 1958-59, mostly playing a guard position. He joined the Phiadelphia Warriors in 1959, staying with them when they moved to San Francisco in 1962-65. In 1965 he was dealt to the Phiadelphia 76ers and played there until 1968, winning an NBA title in 1967. In 1968, he was traded to the Los Angeles Lakers, where he won a championship in 1972. In 1973, he signed a contract as player/coach for the ABA San Diego Conquistadors. Wilt never played for the Q's (because of legal problems) but did have a 37-47 win/loss record and a play-off record of 1-1 in his only season as a head coach.

He was the MVP in 1971-1972 and won the championship in 1974-1975. He was also a five time all-star and made the Hall of Fame in 2011. Gerald Govan came in third with 7,119 rebounds with an average of 10.5 rebounds per game. He was an all-star in 1970. Red Robbins finished fourth with 6,155 rebounds, averaging 10.1 rebounds a game. Red made three all-star games and won a championship in 1971.
