What is the name of the lodge where the gang stays?

From Quiz "1.13: "Rocky Mountain Yiiiii!""

Scooby-Doo and Scrappy-Doo Show Trivia Questions

1. The gang visits Wonderworld, which boasts an ambitious slogan to all its visitors. What is Wonderworld's main slogan?

From Quiz
1.2: "The Night Ghoul of Wonderworld"

Answer: "Where all fantasies become reality"

When the gang arrives, Mr. Marino, the owner of Wonderworld, boasts that all fantasies become a reality at Wonderworld. A bit clever I suppose as technically the "reality" Mr. Marino is speaking of is virtual reality.

2. What is the name of Scooby and Shaggy's favorite comic book?

From Quiz 1.1: "The Scarab Lives!"

Answer: The Blue Scarab

Yep, it's just called "The Blue Scarab," which is the same name of the title character. I suppose they could have created a more unique or interesting name, but I guess some of the most popular comics like "Garfield" and "Batman" are just the names of the title characters. Oh well, moving on...

3. What is the name of the lodge where the gang stays?

From Quiz 1.13: "Rocky Mountain Yiiiii!"

Answer: Pratt's Peak

Pratt's Peak Lodge is named after Jeremiah Pratt, the ghost who is currently haunting it.

4. What is the name of the gang's tour guide?

From Quiz 1.10: "I Left My Neck in San Francisco"

Answer: Jack

The episode's title is parodying the song "I Left My Heart in San Francisco."

5. What is Velma's fantasy?

From Quiz 1.2: "The Night Ghoul of Wonderworld"

Answer: Going to London to solve a mystery with Sherlock Holmes

All of the following answers (besides of course the American Revolution one) are technically plausible, though Velma did repeat several times that she wanted to solve a mystery *alongside* Sherlock Holmes, so her being in competition with him would not make sense. In addition, the gang does eat fish and chips in London though that is not Velma's fantasy.

6. How is Scrappy different in personality than Scooby?

From Quiz 1.1: "The Scarab Lives!"

Answer: He wants to chase the monsters, rather than run away from them

Actually this question could be answered by watching any Scrappy-Doo episode. Though I suppose the rude answer may have a little truth in it to some people who really hate him!

7. What is the name of the lodge owner?

From Quiz 1.13: "Rocky Mountain Yiiiii!"

Answer: Noah Reed

Noah Reed is the only actor who is not credited in the episode's end credits.

8. Who does Shaggy, Scooby and Scrappy think is the Lady Vampire of the Bay?

From Quiz 1.10: "I Left My Neck in San Francisco"

Answer: Daphne

The vampiress's look is very similar to that of Daphne's, and Daphne is sick whenever the vampiress shows up, so they believe that Daphne is turning into a vampire.

9. What does Mr. Marino assure Velma and the gang about the virtual reality robots?

From Quiz 1.2: "The Night Ghoul of Wonderworld"

Answer: They are programmed not to endanger anyone, so it is completely safe

In a demonstration, Mr. Marino shows the gang and Scrappy how the robots may seem intimidating, though they are physically unable to harm anyone as their programming disallows it.

10. What does the Blue Scarab want its creator to do?

From Quiz 1.1: "The Scarab Lives!"

Answer: Stop writing the comics

The creator, Jerry Sloan, is told by his publisher that he will be fired if he does not keep writing comics, despite the Blue Scarab's warning. Quite odd that the publisher is the only one who hasn't seen the Blue Scarab in my opinion. And no, there was no converting to Judaism in this episode.

11. What is Will Henry's position at Pratt's Peak Lodge?

From Quiz 1.13: "Rocky Mountain Yiiiii!"

Answer: Ski instructor

Will Henry may have been named after the famous horror movie actor Will Henry Pratt, which was the real name of Boris Karloff.

12. Who did not have a reflection in the mirror in this episode?

From Quiz 1.10: "I Left My Neck in San Francisco"

Answer: Lady Vampire and Daphne

The glass in the mirror was fake however, so actually anyone who stood in front of the mirror wouldn't have a reflection.

13. What does Sherlock Holmes suspect the Night Ghoul of doing?

From Quiz 1.2: "The Night Ghoul of Wonderworld"

Answer: Stealing the crown jewels

The Night Ghoul of London (which is actually what he is named despite the episode's title) is a notorious British criminal who robs various places around Britain. Sherlock suspects he is targeting the crown jewels which are hidden in the palace. Sherlock's assistant Watson is mentioned to be out of town on vacation early on in the episode.

14. When Scrappy attempts to fight the vampire, what does she put him in?

From Quiz 1.10: "I Left My Neck in San Francisco"

Answer: A box

Shaggy and Scooby have to take him out of the box.

15. What are castle guards in England called?

From Quiz 1.2: "The Night Ghoul of Wonderworld"

Answer: Beefeaters

This answer could technically be known without seeing the episode. Shaggy, Scooby and Scrappy make a food-related joke regarding the beefeaters and Scooby even attempts to lick one of the beefeaters, in order to see if he tasted like beef. Beefeaters are the real name for the London tower guards even in 2017, and are held with high esteem as they guard the royal castle from burglars and other non-welcomed persons.

16. What nearly falls on Scooby at the museum?

From Quiz 1.1: "The Scarab Lives!"

Answer: Statue

This is the scene right before the second commercial break, in which a heavy statue nearly falls on Scooby which would crush him. Though he was able to escape, somehow the thought never occurred to him (or anyone else in the gang for that matter) to simply move out of the way, since the statue was at least 50 feet high and he would have had ample time to run out of the way. Oh well, I suppose a lot of these Scrappy episodes don't all make logical sense. Just look at some of the ones from "The Richie Rich / Scooby-Doo Show!"

17. Where do Shaggy, Scooby, and Scrappy hide from the ghost?

From Quiz 1.13: "Rocky Mountain Yiiiii!"

Answer: Cave

This happens after they land on a patch of thin ice, and use the small chunk of ice remaining to go into the cave to hide from the ghost.

18. What did the Lady Vampire steal from the tiger statue?

From Quiz 1.10: "I Left My Neck in San Francisco"

Answer: Glass eye

The glass eye of the tiger was supposedly part of a treasure, which is why the vampire wanted it.

19. What is the name of the famous location which the gang is inside during this episode?

From Quiz 1.2: "The Night Ghoul of Wonderworld"

Answer: Big Ben

This is another question that could technically be answered without watching the episode. Throughout the episode, many references are made to Big Ben and surrounding areas of London. Big Ben had been previously featured in the 'battle-of-the-network-stars' show "Laff-A-Lympics," ironically, also in the second episode of the series entitled "Acapulco & England."

20. Where does Velma deduce that the Scarab will make his last robbery?

From Quiz 1.1: "The Scarab Lives!"

Answer: Newspaper printing press

The gang quickly rushes over there, only to find no sign of the Scarab. Well, at least initially.

21. Where was Daphne when the vampire bat was flying around her bed?

From Quiz 1.10: "I Left My Neck in San Francisco"

Answer: In the bathroom

Shaggy, Scooby and Scrappy take this as further evidence that Daphne is the Lady Vampire, because they didn't realize Daphne was in the bathroom.

22. Where is the Scarab hiding?

From Quiz 1.1: "The Scarab Lives!"

Answer: Printing press room

After some hijinks on a conveyor belt, Scrappy and the gang find the Scarab and Scrappy attempts to chase him down. A bit of shameless "Yogi Bear" (another Hanna-Barbera series) promotion as well on one of the comic book covers. This is actually quite common for Hanna-Barbera, in one case Yogi Bear made an appearance in "The Flintstones" to steal Fred's picnic basket. This was in the 1963 episode entitled "Swedish Visitors."

23. What beverage does Mrs. Winters ask the gang about, when they come back inside the lodge?

From Quiz 1.13: "Rocky Mountain Yiiiii!"

Answer: Hot cocoa

Mrs. Winters asks "more cocoa" at one point after the gang comes back in the lodge, even though we do not ever see her bring out the cocoa.

24. What other two things did the Lady Vampire steal?

From Quiz 1.10: "I Left My Neck in San Francisco"

Answer: Ruby and emerald

The vampire attempts to steal the diamond at the opera house, but doesn't succeed.

25. Which robot malfunctions in Wonderworld just as Velma solves the mystery?

From Quiz 1.2: "The Night Ghoul of Wonderworld"

Answer: Sherlock

The Sherlock Holmes robot breaks down causing Velma to have to solve the mystery on her own, with the help of Fred and Daphne. After quickly realizing Sherlock's malfunction is actually a clue, she realizes who the culprit is and quickly turns her attention to saving Shaggy and the dogs.

26. How was the Blue Scarab captured?

From Quiz 1.1: "The Scarab Lives!"

Answer: Rolled up in paper

Not sure how one exactly gets "captured" by simply being caught in a piece of paper, but I suppose that's cartoon physics for you!

27. How does the ghost become trapped?

From Quiz 1.13: "Rocky Mountain Yiiiii!"

Answer: Frozen in a tree trunk

The gang has Shaggy and Scooby pretend to be in Jeremiah Pratt's covered wagon, but their plan fails when the ghost appears and the real covered wagon of Jeremiah Pratt begins falling down the mountain. The ghost becomes frozen in ice after the wagon crashes.

28. Where was the diamond at in the opera house?

From Quiz 1.10: "I Left My Neck in San Francisco"

Answer: Chandelier

The Lady Vampire is the only female villain in the "Scooby-Doo and Scrappy-Doo Show" series.

29. Where are the crown jewels found?

From Quiz 1.2: "The Night Ghoul of Wonderworld"

Answer: A secret room inside Big Ben

The secret room is located behind the clock face inside Big Ben.

30. Who is the Blue Scarab?

From Quiz 1.1: "The Scarab Lives!"

Answer: Howard Gruger

This episode is a bit lacking in the fact that it only has three suspects, though that's pretty average for a Scrappy episode.
