1. What is the name of the ship the crew arrives on in the opening minutes of the show?

Gall was new to the "Stargate" shows, though her character was not. The character had appeared in both the "Stargate" (1994) movie and multiple episodes of "Stargate: SG1". She was played by Viveca Lindfors in the movie and Elizabeth Hoffman (season 1), and Elizabeth Hoffman (season 2) of the television show. Kelly Vint Castro appeared in a flashback of the movie as the character as a child. For the web series, which launched in 2018, Gall played the character as a young adult. Gall had played a main role in the TV series "Mind Over Maddie" prior to being cast as the lead of this series.

Jack O'Neill (played by Richard Dean Anderson) had left the team officially after season 7 of the series when he was promoted to general. He left the series other than in small guest appearances after season 8 entirely. He returned for a small appearance in the movie, and in the opening scene had already gone ahead with SG-3 to transport a prisoner for the Goa'uld extraction ceremony. Jack was killed when the prisoner (who was a clone) attacked during the extraction ceremony. Teal'c and Vala disappeared, but Daniel, Cameron Mitchell, and Samatha Carter escaped back to Earth.

The Ori were introduced in season 9 of the show, and followed through to the first movie release.

Samantha Carter was an astronaut in the alternate timeline, Daniel Jackson was a discredited scientist, and Teal'C wasn't known since he was an alien and the Stargate program didn't exist on Earth. Teal'C was however known to Ba'al, who was working for him instead of Aphopis like he had in the original timeline.

Walter Harriman worked at Stargate Command for the entire run of the series, and in both movies.

The hyperspatial buffer is what allows people to put their hand through the event horizon and be able to pull it back safely. It prevents incomplete objects or people from going through and being damaged or destroyed. Any incomplete objects are "stored" in the buffer in a sort of stasis.

The ships were Ha'tak vessels thought to have been under control of the Lucian Alliance, though that was never confirmed. The Lucian Alliance was a group of humans, not from Earth, who became powerful after the destruction of the Goa'uld in "Stargate: SG-1". The three ships attacked the base, forcing everyone to evacuate through the Stargate to the then-unknown destination. That turned out to be the ship Destiny.

This split from the established continuity of the other three live-action series and all three movies as well, exposing that Earth's Stargate was up and running decades earlier than it was otherwise known. The child was a Harcesis, which is the human offspring of two Goa'uld symbiotes and carries the genetic knowledge of both lines of Goa'uld. Only one other is known to have even been born within the continuity of the series.

The character was a replacement for Richard Woolsey who had been sent to the "Stargate: Atlantis" show. He tried to attract the Ori to the Earth ship so they could send a newly designed replicator to their ships and hopefully destroy the entire Ori fleet while still in their own universe.
