All of the story is set in China in the Three Kingdoms Period of that country's history between 180 AD and 234 AD. The spinoff of "Dynasty Warriors", "Samurai Warriors", is set in Japan.

"Enemy officer defeated" is a generic line that is used by a lot of characters when they defeat an officer. "Can anybody provide me with a decent challenge" is the line Lu Bu says when he defeats an officer. "Another has fallen to my spear" is the line Zhao Yun says when he defeats an officer, but this wouldn't even make sense to have been the correct answer to this question as Xiahou Dun doesn't use a spear, he uses a sword.

The shadow orb's pretty good because it can cause instant death, but it does have a drawback by taking away your musou when you use it. It's a good orb to use when you just want to rack up some kills.

At the Battle of Xia Pi, he was shot in the eye by an archer while chasing the enemy general Gao Shun. He claimed that the eye was a gift from his ancestors and that he could not throw it away so he ripped it out and ate it. He was also at the Battle of Guan Du, where he was tasked with the taking of the enemy fort of Yan Jin, but he had long lost his eye by then. He had died already by the time of the Battles of Chen Cang and He Fei Castle.

I feel that is appopriate for Liu Bei and Cao Cao, but since Sun Jian historically did not participate in most of the battles in DW5, he should not have so many stages, and his son Sun Quan should. The Eagle is his third weapon (the most powerful that can be found randomly in boxes). It has a base attack of 11. The Wing Sabres are his second weapon with a base attack of 7. The Twin Sabres are his starting first weapon with a base attack of 3.

When Guan Yu is taken in by Cao Cao and Guan Yu serves Cao Cao for a short time, Xiahou Dun feels that his place at Cao Cao's side is threatened by Guan Yu's presence. This leads to a fierce rivalry between the two which continues even after Guan Yu returns to Liu Bei's side. Their rivalry involves a spar between the two in which Cao Cao comments that Xiahou Dun looked like he wanted to kill Guan Yu.

Whilst 'S' means known throughout the land, 'A' means known in 3 Kingdoms and 'C' means known only in one kingdom. The best bodyguards are harder to get though, as there is a 0.42% chance you will get a Superior/S bodyguard.

Zuo Ci, Sun Jian, Liu Bei, and Cao Cao all have eight levels. Dian Wei, Xiahou Dun, Sun Ce, and Guan Yu all have six levels. Dong Zhuo, Yuan Shao, Lu Bu, Diao Chan, Zhang Jiao, Meng Huo, and Zhu Rong all only have four levels.

This task is as easy as defeating Guan Ping before the water attack succeeds, but like all fourth weapon tasks, it must be done on Hard difficulty. The task at the Battle of He Fei is Ling Tong's fourth weapon task. It would not make sense for Xiahou Dun's fourth weapon task to be this as Zhang Liao was a general of Wei at this battle. The task at the Battle of Bai Di Castle is Lu Xun's fourth weapon task. It would not make sense for Xiahou Dun's fourth weapon task to be this as the Battle of Bai Di Castle did not involve Wei, and besides, Xiahou Dun had been dead for fourteen years at the time of this battle in 234. The task at the Battle of Chen Cang is Sima Yi's fourth weapon task. It would not make sense for this to be Xiahou Dun's fourth weapon task as, at the time of this battle in 228, he had been eight years dead.

The Invasion of Nan Zhong is his first stage in which he starts to show his talents but it is not yet properly noticed until his second stage: the Battle of Fan Castle. The Battles of He Fei Castle and Bai Di Castle are, respectively, his fourth and fifth stages. Lu Xun wasn't even alive at the time of the Battle of Xi Liang between Dong Zhuo's Forces and the Yellow Turbans, as it took place in 180; three years before Lu Xun's birth.
