Rush Coil and Rush Jet have been in the "Mega Man" series since "Mega Man 3". The Rush Coil did not appear in "Mega Man 6" and "Mega Man 8". The Rush Power Adapter and Rush Jet Adapter only appeared in "Mega Man 6". The Rush Cycle was in "Mega Man 8".

2. When "Mega Man IV" opens, how much time has passed since the events of "Mega Man III"?

Only a year has passed when Dr. Cossak makes his entrance into the world domination scene. This is the only game in the NES series that tells you how much time has elapsed from the previous installment.

The Wire Adaptor can be found in Dive Man's stage shortly after the second whale mini-boss. Just jump in the hole, survive the spike drop, and you can find the Wire Adaptor there. Once you have gotten the item, you are teleported to the middle of the stage. The Wire Adaptor is a utility that lets you grapple onto ceilings.

4. "Mega Man IV" introduces the Mega Buster which allows you to charge up your energy for more power shots. What other "Mega Man" game used the same concept for one of its Robot Master weapons?

Although "Mega Man IV" get the credit for introducing the Mega Buster, the true roots of the Mega Buster can be traced back to "Mega Man II". Just like the Mega Buster, you can charge Heat Man's weapon, the "Atomic Fire". The longer you charge the weapon the more powerful and larger its blast will become.
