Time Crisis Games Trivia Questions

1. Just like "Time Crisis 2", "Time Crisis 3" allows two players to play side-by-side, and shows them moving along different routes, firing at enemies from different locations. What is the name of the agent that Player 1 controls?

From Quiz
"Time Crisis 3"

Answer: Alan Dunaway

Alan Dunaway is the agent in the white jacket with red stripes on his shoulders. He has brown medium-length slicked-back hair, and has a pair of sunglasses hanging on his forehead which he never actually wears in the game. His codename is Phoenix. He is described as always having a positive and fearless attitude, never giving up and often cracks jokes in the midst of a mission to lighten up any comrades disheartened by the mission.

2. Keith Martin is the red agent whom Player 1 will play as. What is his codename?

From Quiz "Time Crisis 2"

Answer: Cherub

Keith Martin's codename is Cherub, and to match this, he has a picture of a Cherub (A baby angel with feathered wings) on the back of his jacket. His profile says that he is British, and that he's a special effects worker outside of his work as an agent. He is said to be the more headstrong of the two agents and is listed as being rather "flashy" in his approach to situations.

3. Playing the role of Richard Miller, your job is to save Rachel Macpherson, daughter of the president of the country that the enemy mastermind is trying to gain rule over. What is the name of that country?

From Quiz "Time Crisis"

Answer: Sercia

The enemy mastermind, Sherudo Garo is trying to become king of Sercia. Unlike Serbia and Persia, this is not a real country, though it is loosely based on Serbia.

4. What is the name of the agent that Player 2 controls?

From Quiz "Time Crisis 3"

Answer: Wesley Lambert

Wesley is the agent with the blonde hair who wears the black and blue jacket. His codename is Pegasus. He is described as having a cool and calculated personality, is always calm, and is a very good strategist. He and Alan joined the VSSE at roughly around the same time, and despite their different personalities, they have worked very well as a team.

5. Robert Baxter is the blue agent whom Player 2 will play as. What is his codename?

From Quiz "Time Crisis 2"

Answer: Griffon

Robert Baxter's codename is Griffon, and like his partner, he too has an image of the creature represented in his codename (Half lion, half eagle) on the back of his jacket. His profile lists him as American, and also that he works as a bus driver outside of his agent work. In contrast to his partner, he is said to be a lot more cautious in his approaches, and that the reason he only takes the job of a bus driver outside his work as an agent is so that he can keep a low profile.

6. Wild Dog was the final boss from the original "Time Crisis" game. In which area do you first confront him in the second "Time Crisis" game?

From Quiz "Time Crisis 2"

Answer: Stage 3 - Area 1

You confront Wild Dog halfway through the first area of the third stage. Unlike in the first "Time Crisis" game, he is no longer the final boss, and returns with a chain gun replacing his left arm, which he lost during the explosion at the end of the first "Time Crisis". In addition to his new chain gun limb, he also carries one of his original pistols. You continue to fight him through Stage 3 - Area 2 as simultaneously to fighting the game's main antagonist, Ernesto Diaz. The area ends with the player defeating Wild Dog, where he will proceed to set off an explosive and blow himself up once again.

7. What bonus do the orange-clothed enemies confer when shot?

From Quiz "Time Crisis"

Answer: Extra time

The only purpose that the orange soldiers grant in the game is that they give the player extra time when shot, which is useful due to the timer in "Time Crisis" meaning instant death if it runs out. Unlike any other enemy in the game, the orange soldiers don't shoot at the player, and once they've ducked for cover, they will never return (though some do return a few moments after in the same scene, but if shot this time confer less bonus seconds).

8. How many different times in the game do you confront Moz?

From Quiz "Time Crisis"

Answer: Three

You face Moz three times during the game. The first is as the boss of Stage 1, where he fights you alongside the basic gray ninjas. The next time you face Moz is in Stage 3 Area 3 just before you go into the lift to chase Wild Dog. The last time you confront Moz is during the final boss battle, where he is amongst the large number of enemies you must defeat before moving on to the final scene against Wild Dog.

9. How many tanks do you fight in Stage 3 - Area 1?

From Quiz "Time Crisis 3"

Answer: Two & 2

The player(s) faces two tanks during the middle of Stage 3 - Area 1, one after the other. The player(s) doesn't face the tanks alone however, because many enemy soldiers will be firing at them at the same time, though when a tank is destroyed, the explosion will also kill the surrounding soldiers. As one would expect, tanks require a lot of firepower to bring down, and so it is advisable to use some of the special weapons against them. You also face a few tanks during Stage 3 - Area 3 during the fight against Georgio Zott, ones that shoot energy beams at the player.

10. Who is the final boss of "Time Crisis 3"?

From Quiz "Time Crisis 3"

Answer: Georgio Zott

The commander of the Zagorian troops, Georgio Zott appears as a man in a black military officer uniform with slicked back hair and a moustache. His weapons are a submachinegun and a sword, and he is deadly with both of them. He appears in several cutscenes during Stage 3, but the player(s) don't fight him until Stage 3 - Area 3, the final area of the game.

11. How many points do the yellow soldiers grant the player?

From Quiz "Time Crisis 2"

Answer: 5000

Because the time limit in "Time Crisis 2" isn't as strict and consequential as the one in the first "Time Crisis" game, these yellow soldiers, unlike the orange soldiers from the first game, grant them 5000 bonus points instead of extra time. Much like the orange soldiers from the first game however, the yellow soldiers will not be seen again once they return behind cover once again, meaning that if the player doesn't shoot them quickly, they'd lose out on the bonus points they'd give them.

12. What is Sherudo's weapon of choice?

From Quiz "Time Crisis"

Answer: Throwing Knives

Sherudo uses throwing knives, which he flicks out from his sleeve in the cutscene just before your battle with him. Every knife Sherudo throws hits you with pin-point accuracy, and so you must dodge each of his attacks if you don't shoot him before he throws his weapons.

13. When brought down to his final lifebar, the final boss takes up a new weapon to try and finish the job. What is this weapon?

From Quiz "Time Crisis 3"

Answer: Two Rocket Launchers

After the player(s) defeat the energy tanks, they move on to the final scene against Georgio, where he down from the lowering bridge whilst the screen slowly pans in towards him, firing at the players frantically with a pair of rocket launchers. 14. The "Time Crisis 2" arcade machine has various sentences relating to the game written around the logo on the side of the machine. What is the sentence it has that regards the character "Wild Dog"?

From Quiz "Time Crisis 2"

Answer: "Is the evil Wild Dog really still alive?"

The text questions whether or not Wild Dog is really still alive, and the scenes from the game's introduction video clearly show that he is in fact part of the game's cast. Furthermore, Christy Ryan, the agent at the beginning of the game who has managed to take a peek at Jacob Kinisky's laptop, says on her phone "He's still alive", a clear reference to Wild Dog's return.

15. What is the name of the organization that the protagonist, Richard Miller, works for?

From Quiz "Time Crisis"

Answer: VSSE

Richard Miller, and all the protagonists from the "Time Crisis" sequels, work for the VSSE. 16. During the cutscene prior to Stage 2 - Area 2, the two agents are shown walking through an area with waterfalls. Wesley then asks Alan "Are you sure we're going the right way?" What is Alan's response?

From Quiz "Time Crisis 3"

Answer: "Actually, I was just following you"

Wesley's response to Alan's answer is rather humourous, but as soon as the two agents question their location, they are attacked by enemy soldiers. Both agents quickly duck for cover, before a shot of Wesley is shown and he says "I guess we came to the right place then". Following this, the cutscene ends and gameplay will begin.

17. How many times do the missile launcher enemies shoot before they reload?

From Quiz "Time Crisis 2"

Answer: Four

The missile launcher enemies shoot four times. Although they are slow on start-up, once they have begun firing, it's best to stay hidden until they've shot all four of their missiles because there is a very small time-gap in between each of the missile shots. Aside from the game's standard missile launcher enemies, the game's main antagonist, Ernesto Diaz, also uses a missile launcher during Stage 3 - Area 2, and in the cutscene before the start of the area, he is shown firing 4 missiles at the agents before his short dialogue begins.

20. What happens to a player if they accidentally shoot their partner?

From Quiz "Time Crisis 2"

Answer: They lose points

A player who accidentally shoots their partner loses points every time they do it. The player will know when they've accidentally shot their partner because a large red X will appear over their partner's sprite each time they do it. 21. How many grenades do the grenade enemies throw each time they appear?

From Quiz "Time Crisis 2"

Answer: One

The grenade enemies will only throw one grenade at the player they are aiming for, before taking cover for a few moments. From here, the grenade enemies will either disappear, or will rise up from their cover and shoot the enemy with a pistol with the accuracy of a blue soldier. The only enemy who throws more than one grenade is Wild Dog, who, towards the end of Stage 3 - Area 2, will throw a grenade at each of the agents, unless he is shot before he can do so.

22. How many shots does it take to defeat Wild Dog?

From Quiz "Time Crisis"

Answer: 20

It takes twenty shots to defeat Wild Dog.
