In contrast to his partner, he is said to be a lot more cautious in his approaches, and that the reason he only takes the job of a bus driver outside his work as an agent is so that he can keep a low profile.

You confront Wild Dog halfway through the first area of the third stage. Unlike in the first "Time Crisis" game, he is no longer the final boss, and returns with a chain gun replacing his left arm, which he lost during the explosion at the end of the first "Time Crisis". In addition to his new chain gun limb, he also carries one of his original pistols.

You continue to fight him through Stage 3 - Area 2 as simultaneously to fighting the game's main antagonist, Ernesto Diaz. The area ends with the player defeating Wild Dog, where he will proceed to set off an explosive and blow himself up once again.

Jacob Kinisky is the boss from the first stage. He wears a black suit and a bowler's hat, and he carries a briefcase containing data about Neodyne, the organisation that the antagonists work for. You confront him several times throughout all three Areas of the first stage, and eventually defeat him at the end of Area 3.

Buff Byrant is the boss from the second stage. He is the muscle of Neodyne, using a large chain gun as his weapon of choice, and even swinging a large missile at the players like a giant club. You first see him during Stage 2 - Area 2, where he shoots open all the windows on the train that the player is on, but the players don't actually confront him until Area 3, where he is the sole enemy through the whole area until his eventual defeat.

Ernesto Diaz is the main antagonist and final boss of the game. He is the head of Neodyne, and his profile lists him as a former US millitary officer. You first fight against him at the beginning of Stage 3 - Area 2, fighting him simultaneously to Wild Dog, where he fights with a missile launcher. During the first half of Area 3, he uses the captive agent, Christy Ryan, as a human shield, and shoots at you with a pistol. During the final battle against him, he stands atop a prototype version of a satellite, where he occasionally shoots at you with his pistol whilst the satellite shoots lasers and missiles at the player(s), until Diaz is eventually defeated and the game ends.

Every boss in "Time Crisis 2" has some kind of explosion following their defeat. Kinisky's boat crashes and explodes following his defeat, as does Buff's helicopter. Wild Dog, renown for exploding upon defeat, does what would become his trademark method of blowing himself up, and the satellite that Diaz stood upon falls into the launchpad with the real satellite, causing the satellite, and the whole base for that matter, to explode.

Wild Dog does not have any kind of apprentice in "Time Crisis 2", though he does have an apprentice named "Wild Fang" in the sequel, "Time Crisis 3", and in the "First-Person Shooter" mode of the Playstation 3 release of "Time Crisis 4". Wild Dog does however fight simultaneously alongside Ernesto Diaz for the duration of Stage 3 - Area 2, and much like in the first game, he isn't the mastermind behind the enemy plans.

It is in fact Robert Baxter, the agent Player 2 will control, and the one in the blue jacket. Although Robert will always get the machine gun during this scene in any multi-player mode, if the player plays "Solo", then no matter which agent they are playing as, they will always have the machine gun during this part of the game.

Because the time limit in "Time Crisis 2" isn't as strict and consequential as the one in the first "Time Crisis" game, these yellow soldiers, unlike the orange soldiers from the first game, grant them 5000 bonus points instead of extra time. Much like the orange soldiers from the first game however, the yellow soldiers will not be seen again once they return behind cover once again, meaning that if the player doesn't shoot them quickly, they'd lose out on the bonus points they'd give them.

The text questions whether or not Wild Dog is really still alive, and the scenes from the game's introduction video clearly show that he is in fact part of the game's cast. Furthermore, Christy Ryan, the agent at the beginning of the game who has managed to take a peek at Jacob Kinisky's laptop, says on her phone "He's still alive", a clear reference to Wild Dog's return.

The missile launcher enemies shoot four times. Although they are slow on start-up, once they have begun firing, it's best to stay hidden until they've shot all four of their missiles because there is a very small time-gap in between each of the missile shots. Aside from the game's standard missile launcher enemies, the game's main antagonist, Ernesto Diaz, also uses a missile launcher during Stage 3 - Area 2, and in the cutscene before the start of the area, he is shown firing 4 missiles at the agents before his short dialogue begins.

Christy Ryan had blonde hair in the arcade port, but this was changed to brown in the Playstation 2 port of the game. Overall, the character effectively had a complete change to her overall look in the console port of the game due to the improvement in the game's graphics in it's Playstation 2 release.

A player who accidentally shoots their partner loses points every time they do it. The player will know when they've accidentally shot their partner because a large red X will appear over their partner's sprite each time they do it.

If the game is being played by two players and one of the players shoots their partner, then the other player's screen will also shake slightly for a split moment.

The grenade enemies will only throw one grenade at the player they are aiming for, before taking cover for a few moments. From here, the grenade enemies will either disappear, or will rise up from their cover and shoot the enemy with a pistol with the accuracy of a blue soldier.

The only enemy who throws more than one grenade is Wild Dog, who, towards the end of Stage 3 - Area 2, will throw a grenade at each of the agents, unless he is shot before he can do so.

It is Robert Baxter who leaps to Christy's rescue after Ernesto Diaz tries to throw her off the high platform. Following her rescue, she will tell the two agents to pursue Diaz before he could launch the satellite into space, and when the agents finally catch up to him, the final boss fight of the game begins against Diaz and the prototype satellite.
