Will Rogers was an American radio and film star, from early silent movies through the early years of "talkies". Once the highest paid star, he died in a plane crash in 1935.

Rogers Hornsby was a Hall of Fame baseball player, famous for breaking or setting many early batting records. Hornsby played for the Cardinals, Giants, and Cubs, among others.
