Answer: Richard Pryor

Pryor starred in the 1980 movie "Stir Crazy", with Gene Wilder. Pryor had a credit of comedy dating back to the 1960s; he made his breakthrough in the late 1970s and early 1980s. He also had a long history of drug abuse, almost burning himself to death in June, 1980. He died in December, 2005, of a heart attack at age 65.

Williams guest starred as Mork From Ork on 'Happy Days' in 1978. That fall, he was given his own show. Two years later, he starred in the film 'Popeye' (1980). Williams made a host of other successful movies, including 'Good Morning, Vietnam' (1987), 'Mrs. Doubtfire' (1993), 'Jack' (1996) and 'Good Will Hunting' (1997).

Kinison had his own show on HBO tiled "Sam Kinison: Breaking The Rules" which aired in 1987. He also appeared in the 1988 Bon Jovi video "Bad Medicine", before making his own video for the classic rock song "Wild Thing" (1988). He was killed in a tragic car accident on his way to Los Angeles from Las Vegas in April, 1992, at age 38.

"Seinfeld" aired from 1989 to 1998. Seinfeld played an aspiring stand-up comedian and the stories revolved around his adventures and misadventures with his friends. Seinfeld decided to leave the show in 1998. The final episode, which aired in May, 1998, had him and his co-stars arrested for failing to honor a good neighbor law.

They were sent to prison for a year for other past shenanigans.

Answer: Ellen DeGeneres

"These Friends Of Mine" debuted in 1994 and was shortened to the name, "Ellen" that fall. DeGeneres starred as a phobic bookstore owner and the plots dealt mainly with her life with her friends. Ellen DeGeneres is well-known for her same-sex orientation. Sadly, the exposure of her character's newfound lifestyle caused to show to be cancelled in 1998. DeGeneres had a new show in the early 2000s, titled "The Ellen Show".

Carrey starred in the 1994 movie "Dumb And Dumber" with Jeff Daniels, as a goofy limousine driver. Some of Carrey's other movies included "The Cable Guy" (1996), "Liar Liar" (1997), "Me, Myself and Irene" (2000) and "Bruce Almighty" (2003).

Sandler starred as the hapless "Happy Gilmore" in 1996. he played a violent, abrasive, yet frustrated failed hockey player who was always ready to apologize for his offenses. Many other great movies by Sandler included "The Wedding Singer" (1998), "The Waterboy" (1998), "Big Daddy" (1999) and "Mr. Deeds" (2002).

Rock was the narrator for his 2005 sitcom "Everybody Hates Chris". It revolved around the troubled childhood Rock experienced as the only black student at a white school, and about his clashes with his over-strict parents. Rock also appeared in the 1998 movie "Lethal Weapon 4", with Mel Gibson, Danny Glover and Joe Pesci.

Myers first movie "Wayne's World" (1992) was based on his "SNL" character, Wayne Campbell, a cool dude who had his own access cable talk show. Dana Carvey co-starred as his semi-nerdy best friend and sidekick, Garth Algar. The movie was followed by a 1993 sequel. "Austin powers: International Man Of Mystery" debuted in 1997 and starred Myers as the agent and as Dr.Evil, a mad scientist with a scheme to take over the world for a huge ransom.

This was followed by two sequels, one in 1999 and the other in 2002. Myers also starred in a host of other movies, including "So I Married An Axe Murderer" (1993) and the "Shrek" trilogy, which began in 2001.
