He would open his Las Vegas shows by exiting an expensive car in a mink coat and showing off his rings to the audience. There is a Liberace Museum in Las Vegas where his cars can be seen. He had a popular TV show that ran from 1953-54 and his name is said in the 1954 song "Mr. Sandman".

She has been awarded an OBE and her Edith Keeler character, from the 1967 "Star Trek" episode "The City on the Edge of Forever", was made into an action figure. Not bad for someone whose first husband tried to sell her to an Arab Sheik.

Roddy McDowell appeared as Cornelius, a chimpanzee scientist, in the original movie version of "The Planet of the Apes" (1968). He appeared in three of the other four movies in the series and was Galen in the 1974 TV series based on the movies. In later years, he became the voice of the Mad Hatter in the cartoons "Batman: The Animated Series" (1992-94) and "The New Batman Adventures" (1998) and Snowball, rival of The Brain, in "Pinky and The Brain" (1996-98).

Her theme song was "There's No Business Like Show Business", from the Broadway musical "Annie Get Your Gun" (1946), which she starred in. She appeared in the movies "It's A Mad Mad Mad Mad World" (1963) and "Airplane" (1980), which was her last part in a movie. She won a Tony for her performance in the Broadway show "Call Me Madam" (1951) and even released a disco album in 1979.

He was also a popular character actor, appearing in the movies "The Three Faces of Eve" (1957) and "The Andromeda Strain" (1971), among other movies and TV shows.

He is a member of the Television Hall of Fame and is on a United States postage stamp. He was in Ratt's "Round and Round" music video as himself and a lady at a dinner. It wasn't the first time "Uncle Miltie" appeared in drag.
