Answer: Yes

In the episode "Lucy Makes A Hit With John Ritter," he appeared as himself. In the episode, he was doing a play in the town where Lucy lived. He stops into a store to buy a few things and in the usual Lucy fashion, rather than being helpful (which was her intent), she accidentally hurts his hand.

In the end, the lead actress in John's play gets sick and Lucy fills in as the lead. Other stars that appeared in that episode are: Greg Mullavey, Ruth Buzzi, and Sally Kemp.

Answer: Black Like Monica

John portrayed Tom McKinsley, who is the sheriff in the small town of Aynesville, Illinois. This is a remarkable episode in which Monica is sent to Earth from the heavens above to help those that fear people of a different race. Tom McKinsley is an honorable and decent man, but over the years since he has become sheriff, he has let many things go by him, including the bigotry that is plaguing his town. Monica sees a group of white men assaulting a young black man.

The group of white men spot her, because in parts of this episode, Monica appears as a person of black skin.

The group of white men chase Monica into some bushes, where she stoops down and prays to God to be white. When the group are upon her, they now see her as white, and let her go. Monica is so startled by the fact that she is white once again, and starts to cry.

As Tess appears, Monica is hiding in an old school bus, and looks up to see Tess standing before her, and begs Tess to forgive her for wishing that she was white.

In this episode, John plays a remarkable part as the sheriff who admits that he is a racist. He, along with the town change their ways. This is the best episode of "Touched By An Angel."

9. In 1990, John made a movie in which he starred opposite Michael Oliver. What is the name of this movie?

Answer: Problem Child

"Problem Child" was made in 1990, it is about a couple that wants children, but cannot have any of their own. They decide to adopt, but they want an infant, when they are told that they will have to be placed on a waiting list for potential infants to adopt, Ben (who is portrayed by John Ritter) becomes desperate.

The person who runs the agency tells them that they might consider adopting an older child. Thus setting the stage for them to adopt Junior (portrayed by child actor Michael Oliver). It seems that Junior, after being shifted from one set of parents to the next, fell into the hands of an orphanage that is run by nuns. Junior is so bad that the nuns and the director of the adoption agency will say and do anything to get him a home. If you have never seen this movie, I would advise you to see it.

It is a good movie, that shows the multi-talented Ritter at his best.
