Without "Making Love" twenty years earlier, there'd have been no "Far From Heaven". Jackson had left "Charlie's Angels" in 1979 when she had to pass up the Meryl Streep role in "Kramer vs. Kramer" (because the "Angels" producers wouldn't give her the time off to film it). "Making Love" remains the best known of her few big screen roles.

She has primarily been seen in TV movies and guest appearances since. The movie was directed by Arthur Hiller.

In 1999's "Any Given Sunday", Diaz played a woman whose father had left her the football team in his will, and she proceeded to tear away any remaining good will between her and the team's coach, played by Al Pacino. Even tough guy Charlton Heston said in the film, "I honestly believe that woman would eat her own young."

Answer: Cheryl Ladd

This song was the subject of an infamous "Long Distance Dedication" on the "American Top 40" countdown radio show. Some boy wrote in and asked to have the song played, and in his letter also asked Cheryl to his high school prom! (She personally called him with her regrets, and he thought his friends were playing a joke!) The song peaked at #36. It was from Ladd's 1978 album, "Dance Forever". Ladd was also one of the singers behind the 1970 cartoon show, "Josie and the Pussycats".

In the 1980s, two other actors would follow Ladd to One Hit Wonder status in the U.S.: Pia Zadora ("The Clapping Song") and Nia Peeples ("Trouble").

She had previously appeared in the made-for-TV movie, "Suddenly, Love" (1978). Two years later, Drew was five years old and played the daughter of William Hurt and Blair Brown's characters in "Altered States" (1980). Two years after that, she and Henry Thomas would become big movie stars in "E.T."

Moore's low, slightly raspy voice was an ideal match for the company famous for its casual footwear. In one ad, a woman takes off her Keds and tosses them in a washing machine as Demi announces, "Introducing the Keds shoe-shine kit."

The movie has spawned a syndicated television series, but with different actors (who look like they spend all their spare time with personal trainers). Roberts went on to star in the ill-fated jungle movie, "Sheena". She also appeared in "A View To a Kill" before turning to a series of low-budget 'erotic thrillers'.

The series was called "Pearl". Rhea played a mother with grown children going back to college. Liu played an ambitious classmate. It was widely reported that Liu was the main reason Bill Murray did not reprise his Bosley role in "Full Throttle", and her departure from "Ally McBeal" was greatly celebrated by that show's crew.

Hack got good reviews, but looked too young to play the mother of a teenager. It was her second horror movie, after making the low-budget "Troll" the previous year. She was also in Martin Scorsese's "The King of Comedy", but in a thankless secretary role. "Charlie's Angels" costume designer Nolan Miller was particularly nasty in his treatment of her during her one season on the show, which he freely admitted in an "Angels" retrospective television special.

Farrah displayed her raw talent in a #1 selling Playboy video, which many people bought out of morbid curiosity. To promote this video, Farrah made a notoriously dithery appearance on "The Late Show with David Letterman." She later claimed her agent suggested she act that way in order to appear coy and playful like Marilyn Monroe. She made Marilyn look like a Rhodes scholar.

Answer: Jaclyn Smith

Art Carney died shortly after this quiz was completed in 2003. Jaclyn Smith played a mother whose husband works for an oil company that wants to blast through Santa Claus's North Pole home! Of all the Angels, she has made the least number of big screen appearances, not any major releases really.
