Answer: Julian

His full name is Timothy Julian Brooke-Taylor. He was born in 1940 in Derbyshire, England.
2. What did Tim study at university?

Answer: Law

He studied at Cambridge and read economics and politics before changing to law. He met many future stars at Cambridge, including John Cleese and Bill Oddie.
3. In what year was Tim President of The Footlights?

Answer: 1963

He was succeeded by Graeme Garden. The review when Tim was president was called "A Clump Of Plinths". It was renamed "Cambridge Circus" (1963 to 1964) and toured successfully in several locations around the glove. He was also a member of the Pembroke College drama society, the Pembroke Players.
4. As Lady Constance de Coverlet, what was Tim's catchphrase?

Answer: "Did somebody call?"

Lady Constance de Coverlet was played by Tim in "I'm Sorry I'll Read That Again" (1964 to 1973), a radio show. A running joke about Lady Constance was her huge size. Tim has repeated Lady Constance's famous voice in many episodes of "The Goodies" (1970 to 1982), the first being in the episode called "Snooze" (second show in the first series).

Bill Oddie did not join until the second series. "Broaden Your Mind" was a sketch show, loosely based around the concept of an encyclopedia designed to educate the audience.
