Answer: Disney Dollars

In May 1987, Cast Members received a $1.00 bill as a gift for the debut of Disney Dollars.
2. What was the date of Disneyland's thirtieth anniversary?

Answer: July 17, 1985

Disneyland opened on July 17, 1955 and Cast Members were encouraged to remember that date.
3. Speaking of the 30th anniversary, what was the special gift every 30,000th guest won from the "Gift Giver Extraordinaire" Machine during the year?

Answer: a new car

Every thirtieth guest won a pin, every three hundredth won a free admission ticket, every three thousandth guest won a watch. The car won at 30,000 was a compact GM model. The big prize, every three millionth guest won a Cadillac!

Answer: Mickey Moo

Mickey Moo was kept at Big Thunder Ranch (a 1980s debut location) on display for all to see.
5. Disneyland is famous for its "mountains". With the addition of Splash Mountain in 1989, how many "mountains" did Disneyland have? (Hint: not all have "mountain" in their name).

Answer: Four

The other three were the Matterhorn, Space Mountain, and Big Thunder Mountain.

Answer: Mickey's Toontown

Toontown didn't come to Disneyland until the 1990s.Bear Country was changed to Critter Country in 1989.

Answer: Videopolis

Videopolis was a hit for the first summer, but only lasted until the end of the decade. DTV was on the Disney Channel in the '80s.

Answer: 1982

A ticket cost only $12 in 1982!
9. What attraction did NOT have its debut in the 1980s at Disneyland?(Hint: it replaced the Carousel of Progress in Tommorowland)

Answer: America Sings

America Sings opened in 1972 in Tomorrowland. Wonders of China was brought in from EPCOT Center in the 1980s, Captain Eo opened in 1986, and Star Tours opened in 1987.
10. In 1984, what was the name of the film that replaced the original Circle-vision film "America the Beautiful"?(Hint:similar name!)

Answer: American Journeys

Disney felt it was time to update since "America the Beautiful" was filmed in 1967. It was fun, though, to see a sort of time capsule when watching the original. O! Canada has only been at Epcot. Magic Journeys was replaced by Captain Eo.
