1. Kasey Pierce

Answer: Norah

"Norah" was first published as a comic book series, and later as a graphic novel. Pierce is also the author of the anthology/short story collection called "Pieces of Madness". The book was published through Source Point Press.
2. Dirk Manning

Answer: Nightmare World

Manning has two notable creator-owned series, "Nightmare World" which was his first notable work, and "Tales of Mr. Rhee". He has also written for several other titles as a hired author.
3. Gary Reed

Answer: Dead World

Reed founded Caliber Comics, and also worked at McFarlane Toys in the 1990s. He wrote hundreds of comics and other books before he died in 2016. "Deadworld" was his most well-known work.
4. James O'Barr

Answer: The Crow

"The Crow" is one of the most well known independent comics ever sold. It sold over a million copies in multiple languages and remained in print for decades after it was first published. There has also been a television series and several feature films made based on the work.
5. Trico Lutkins

Answer: Jack of Spades

Lutkins is the co-founder of Source Point Press, and has written several novels and dozens of comics over his career.

"Jack of Spades" is a detective story. It was illustrated by Joshua Werner.
6. Stefani Manard

Answer: Psycho Path

"Psycho Path" was published by Scape Goat Press. It was Manard's first foray into comic books, but was very popular on the independent comic book scene. The books follow various people as they work through their psychosis.
7. Erick Gutierrez

Answer: Max the Inebriated Rabbit

Gutierrez is a member of El Arto Press, a company that has several writers and artists of Mexican descent.

His most notable work, also his official debut, was "Max the Inebriated Rabbit", a book that he served as the writer and artist on.

The book has several anthropomorphic animals in it.
8. Kevin Eastman

Answer: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Eastman, along with Peter Laird co-created the Ninja Turtles. That is arguably the most successful independent comic of all time. The franchise has spread into all aspects of popular culture, and appears on all manner of apparel and other merchandise as well.
9. John Marroquin

Answer: Mariachi

Marroquin has both written and drawn "Mariachi" in some form or another over the course of his career. The character was created by him and Christopher Sanchez. Marroquin has also worked on several other creator-owned comics and graphic novels.
10. Ben Edlund

Answer: The Tick

Edlund's most famous comic book work is "The Tick" but he's made his name producing and writing movies and television. Edlund has worked on shows and movies likes "Supernatural", "Powers". "Titan A.E." and three versions of "The Tick" for television.
