Winsor McCay was one of the first professional comic strip writers. McCay had incredible endurance in writing a full page comic every Sunday for almost 22 years!

Flip is a strange person who accompanies Nemo in his travels in Slumberland. Dr. Pill is a notorious troublemaker in Slumberland.
The Imp is a strange brown creature that pops up in some of Nemo's travels. The King's actual name is King Morpheus, not King Sepherius.
