Siegfried & Roy were a duo that combines both stage illusions and a showcase of exotic animals. Siegfried Fischbacher, born in 1939 in Rosenheim, Germany, was a traditional magician; Roy Horn, born in 1944 in Nordenharm, Germany, worked with the exotic animals and was the one who sustained an injury in 2003.

The duo officially cancelled their show in 2010 due to Horn's injury, which also caused a stroke and partial paralysis. They were honored in 1999 with a star in the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
