"Raw" Flashback June 4, 2001 Trivia Quiz

At one point in the match Kane attempted to give Christian a "Chokeslam," but he was distracted by Edge. As Kane and Christian fought on the outside and Edge was in the ring, Hugh Morris came down and attacked Edge and gave him a "Moonsault." Kane retained the title when he gave Christian a powerbomb and pinned him for the win.

Answer: Vince McMahon

Vince said that Shane was trying to be a disruptive voice in the WWF and that it won't happen. He took Chris Benoit to task for what he did to him the previous week. He said that Stone Cold Steve Austin beat him twice in one week. He called Benoit an animal and said that's how Austin treated him last week and told him that he would never get a WWF Heavyweight Title shot again.

He went on to say that Benoit would face the Big Show later on.

Answer: Mick Foley

Foley came to the ring and showed Vince a piece of paper. It turned out that the piece of paper was a contract that he signed in a meeting he had with Linda McMahon in December. He said that the contract gave him the power to make a main event match on "Raw" any time he wanted.

He said that Stone Cold Steve Austin would defend the WWF Heavyweight Title against Chris Jericho, and that McMahon and Benoit were banned from ringside. McMahon said that the contract was signed in Connecticut, but they are in Minnesota and that the contract is not valid in Minnesota, so Foley told him that someone else would make the match.

Answer: Jesse Ventura

Ventura said that on behalf of all the fans in Minnesota he wants to make something clear with Vince. He said that he couldn't control him when he was working for the WWF and can't control him now. He went on to make the Austin verses Jericho match for the WWF Heavyweight Title.

At one point in the match Matt tried to give Jeff the "Twist Of Fate," but Jeff countered it and rolled him up for the win.

Answer: Kurt Angle

The win went to Kurt Angle and the Hollys after Angle gave Bubba the "Angle Slam." Better luck next time Dudleys!

Late in the match, the Big Show tried to give Benoit a "Chokeslam," but Benoit blocked it and gave him the "Crippler Crossface" for the win; proving that it doesn't matter how small you are or how big your opponent is.

Trish won the match when she pulled down Terri's pants, exposing her panties.

The match started with Austin pounding Jericho. Jericho fought back and gave Austin a couple of chops to the chest. Jericho got Austin in the "Walls Of Jericho," but Austin got to the ropes. The action shifted to the outside. Austin clotheslined Jericho and threw him back in the ring. Jericho fought back with a springboard dropkick, but it wasn't long before Austin threw him into the steel steps. Austin then threw Jericho into Mick Foley knocking Foley down. Jericho fought back and threw Austin into the steel steps. Foley recovered and threw Austin back into the ring. Jericho gave Austin a bulldog and attempted to give him the "Lionsault," but Austin got his knees up. Austin gave Jericho a spinebuster then kicked him in the ribs.

He tried a submission hold on Jericho. Jericho tried to fight back but Austin gave him a low blow and covered him, but Jericho kicked out. Austin then started arguing with Foley and Jericho gave him a low blow from behind. Both Austin and Jericho started hitting each other. Jericho went to the top rope and nailed Austin with a dropkick.

He put Austin on the top rope and gave him a hurricanrana and covered him but Austin kicked out. It wasn't long before Jericho accidently knocked out the regular referee. Jericho then gave Austin the "Walls Of Jericho," and Foley came into the ring but was attacked from behind by William Regal. Jericho went after him and Foley hit Jericho with a chair by accident. Austin rolled Jericho back into the ring and covered him but Jericho kicked out. Austin then gave him a "Stone Cold Stunner" to retain the WWF Heavyweight Title.
