Answer: Football

Booster was a star football player in college until he was caught betting on his own games. He then became a security guard at a museum and used many of the artifacts there to become a superhero.

Booster's real name is Michael Jon Carter, a departure from such alliterative alter egos as Clark Kent, Billy Batson and Wally West.

Michelle Carter was Booster's younger sister, who used a magnetic suit to fight crime. She died fighting crime, leaving Booster wrecked emotionally.

In the series "52", Supernova was revealed to be Booster Gold, who had not died and used Rip Hunter's chronal technology to be in two places at once. He went on to stop Mister Mind with the help of Skeets, Rip Hunter, and the Red Tornado.
